Beautiful coffee house/restaurant. Really feels as if you are walking into an Italian courtyard with trees and lights are around. The coffee is delicious and we sampled 2 types of cannolis chocolate/hazelnut and salted caramel Both were incredible! We didn't have a main meal but looking at other people's meals, they looked delicious. The staff were welcoming and helpful. There is a disabled toilet on the ground floor with chairs outside if there is queue. The ladies toilets are upstairs. We went on a Wednesday afternoon in December and it was very busy. They have a lovely outdoor terrace at the front of the restaurant with beautiful plants and outdoor heaters which was lovely. We want to go back and try a having a meal next time. Well worth a visit.
Visited the place for breakfast Tuesday morning as we stayed 2 days in town, it was the best food we had during our staying there. I've had the eggs royal with salmon, just perfect, I don't remember when was my last time enjoying a good breakfast. Big portion, really triee hard to finish my food. The place is nicely decorated, felt like I was on holiday in Italy as the weather was very good that day, so good food with a sunshine that's all you want. Will definitely visit again once I'm back to lytham st Anne.
I had a wonderful experience at Zest. The food was excellent and I was very pleased with the service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a accomodationing experience.
A great place to eat, was a Friday lunchtime and got an outside table. Food was great and large servings, although busy, staff were attentive and drinks and food came quickly. Inside there was a large group of older folks enjoying a presecco lunch... a great life.
Not easy to get a table but worth it for the quality. Great place for lunch with several platters to choose from. Exhausting selection of gin. Love this place
Unfortunately a disappointing experience. The most unsafe I've ever felt during COVID times. No one wearing a mask staff or customers, staff leaning over you constantly. Water bottle served wasn't clean, let alone sanitised. Food was dubious - kids couldn't eat their food, chips over seasoned. Portion of salad was tiny. Sauces stopped into their containers with little care. Ended up not staying for desserts as it felt too unsafe. Shame as the rest of the reviews were very positive.
A fabulous brunch spot with a pleasingly varied menu - including excellent buttery kippers on toast! Prompt service and generous portions, with plenty of space inside and outside on the terrace area. Plenty of choice for vegetarians too beyond the standard egg on toast/avo on toast options and lots of flavour. Highly recommend!
Absolutely disgusting service I came with my mother who is elderly and struggles to get out but as it was her birthday I thought I would try zest in Lytham. Get there after traveling 30mins in the car from outside of preston and basically we were ignored until I got the female waitress attention after asking 2/3 times for any seats. Finally greeted with a huge disinterest towards us we sat down ordered breakfast which was average at best. Came to pay the bill and I asked the lady do you have a tip box yes we do she replied. Gave her a tip not even a bloody thank you!!! And to top it off I was charged a "service charge at discretion" are you joking me?! Didn't even tell me about a service charge if I knew of this I would of taken my money back and kept the tip and I would never of step for into a place like this I wouldn't of even bothered. A disgraceful place over priced food 2.50 for a small pot of beans? I know its lytham but come one you probably got the beans out of a 5 year old tin and to top it off ignorant staff. I've ran many 5 star restaurants in my time working all over the world in France belguim and New York not once have I ever treated a loyal paying customer or any first time customers with disinterest and charge them outstanding prices. Next time I'll just take her to macdonlds probably better food and better service.
Went on a busy Saturday night , beware when ordering several drinks along with food , the split ends being roughly 40% food ,60% for drinks , go through your bill with a fine tooth comb ! Was sat next to an elderly couple who were given a bill for £120 ! The staff were adamant the bill was correct , after around 10 minutes of the couple insisting it was wrong , they went away and came back with another bill for £106 . Be very aware in busy periods of being overcharged. The food was at best average which makes the extra offset in drinks appear extortionate. Avoid at busy times
Lovely place to grab a very tasty bite to eat. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Quick service but didn't feel rushed. Menu had plenty of choice and reasonably priced for the area and quality. Highly recommended hence the 5 rating.
