This restaurant is located on the first floor of the Hilton Heathrow at Terminal 4. Last order daily is at 10:30pm. Good selection of Chinese cuisine, we ordered the Kong Po Prawns, Tou Fu, Beef Szechuan style, Soya Sauce Chicken. Service is good and they serve slice red chilli on request
Love this place and the staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Trying to remember my first visit, yet all I can say is, I won't stop visiting. Thank you for the tasty food and lovely Merlot.
Terrible service, rude staff who rushed us and gave us contaminated plates. I was very disappointed and did not expect this behaviour from a Hilton based restaurant. The food was overpriced but tasted fine. I will not be returning here.
Nice ... pricey...ordered spare ribs as a appetizer great flavor but slightly tough. Ordered shredded spicy beef and it was very good with fried rice.
The meal was tasty, fresh and presented well. The staff were friendly and attentive. However, for what you receive the cost is excessive. Sometimes when a meal, four beers and a glass of wine for three people costs $225 you walk out thinking wow, that was exceptional, but that wasn't the case for us with Zen. We walked out thinking we had a nice Chinese meal and paid three times what we should have. I am guessing it's because they are in the Hilton.
We’ve been going to this restaurant on and off for about 10 years now. Food use to be good & although outrageously pricey, on special occasions it seemed worth it. However, our most recent visit confirmed that this was our last! One would visit very upbeat & bearing in mind your within premium hotel brand setting but your evening immediately turns to disappointment as your greeted by strange staff who have no expressions & look fed up & instantly make it obvious they’re talking about you in their own language! The food is ridiculously over priced and comes out within 5mins, presentation is dated and looks like something reheated which has been kept in the fridge for days! Food appears dry, stale & tasteless. Service is always rushed whilst the waiting staff encourage you to order quickly. Overall terrible experience, the owner no longer attends and use to at least make one feel welcome as have other managers who have come and gone. Overall seek alternative.
Best of Heathrow area. Good food. Consistent, long-term staff, welcoming, tasty, good quality, not too pricey, accessible hours. Authentic. We have been going to this restaurant for at least 10 years. Always good.
Ridiculously expensive with average to good food. We weren't offered any prawn crackers which we though was very bad when paying £20+ per dish without rice or noodles. Half a duck was £26 so if you don't mind paying double the price then the food was pretty good but not amazing.
Excellent food and surprised at what a wide range of choices there are for gluten free diet. Chinese restaurants are often a bad choice when you can't eat gluten but not here! Bit pricey but worth it
The restaurant first class, comfortable in the same Hilton we were at, the host was very accommodating as he made us feel comfortable and answered all our questions. The meals from the mango prawns to the crabmeat soup, the steamed vegetable salad and the fish, seabass all excellent.
