The decor is really beautiful and it feels like a fancy meal out for sure. I’ve been wanting to visit for ages and finally came for the pre theatre menu. Wasn’t blown away by the food to be honest. It was good overall and service was attentive, just wasn’t wowed by it. Vegetarian options okay, would recommend pad Thai. Street parking available nearby. Don’t think I’ll visit again but glad I tried it the once.
Probably the best Thai restaurant I had a chance to visit. Fresh and delicious food. Staff did the best to give the excellent service, they gave us the time for waiting for food, the drinks were brought very quickly, so we didn’t have to sit at empty table, lovely details of interior to have a nice pictures taken at. Places is very spacious, tables are not squeezed together which I hate in some places. Lamb dish was gorgeous, for those who love lamb I can say with confidence- go for it! Vegan meal was something Amazing too. Highly recommended! We will visit Zen again.
Just one criticism really: the leg of lamb was a bit too heavy and salty. I was also expecting it to be on the bone but I didn't mind that. Everything else was excellent! Really nice atmosphere and we'll definitely be back!
Had a gorgeous meal at Zen Metro. It was a Thursday night and pretty quiet. The service was excellent and friendly. I highly recommend the Tom Kha Kai soup from the starters - the tempura vegetables were also lovely. We then had Beef Red Curry and Green Chicken Curry, with some prawn crackers noodles and veg rice on the side - all the portions were generous and we were stuffed! We also took advantage if the 2-for-1 cocktails with a couple of mojolitis each and they were fantastic. All in all we were really impressed and shall definitely return.
Lovely Thai restaurant with an amazing interior! Ambience was calm and relaxing. Service was excellent and the dishes were presented well. Tasty food, all the dishes we ordered were very nice. Even had a surprise birthday dessert, which I would say was the highlight. Would definitely recommend!!
Delicious food. Excellent service. Had an amazing time. Took my family for my mum's birthday. We all loved it. Highly recommend.
So this was a new spot to try and considering we were late and they still seated us, that's pretty cool. As they're pretty hot on the timekeeping front, and fair play, 15 mins or they'll give away the table. But they got us in which was nice... the drinks weren't that strong we had pineapple mojitos prawn crackers and the dips were AMAZING... the chicken satay was kind of underwhelming... the sauce was nice but the chicken itself was a bit plain.. tempura prawns were juicy with a light crispy batter... the main, was nice! And HUGE lol the lamb they give you comes shredded, and mountainous lol... but until I poured the sauce it comes with all over it, it was just ok. But I got my money's worth from that dish! Overall wasn't blown away and not in a rush to return but the staff were polite
Pay Jai more, We had really good food and drinks here. Especially green curry with veg. Fried rice was great and the food is authentic here. Kudos to our hostManoj, who was very kind and patient with us. A must visit place for thai food.
Great restaurant. The staff were good and polite. The interior is stunning and the food is simply brilliant. The menu is very versatile. Had a great time here with a group of 15 and were and to our order the food before hand. Loved it.
The restaurant itself is very beautiful but the food was very underwhelming. The Spicy Wok chicken was tasty but the lamb massaman was not good at all. The flavours were way too overpowering and the lamb was not cooked well making it very difficult to chew. I told one of the waiters about the chewy lamb and he looked like he didn’t even care or acknowledge any problems. For dessert I had a crème brûlée which was standard and nothing to complain about there. Overall I’d give Location and decoration: 9/10 Food 4/10 Service 6/10 Wouldn’t go back again I hate it when restaurants focus more on its looks than it’s food.
