Zaza Restaurant
"Zaza is situated in the high street in Rickmansworth. The building dates back to 1682 when it was built as a home by the Lord of the manor John Fotherley.Zaza has a warm and intimate atmosphere which instantly sets the mood for an evening of relaxed dining. Add this to a private dining room for up to 30 people for special occasions and you have a truly enjoyable experience for all Italian food lovers alike. Our pretty garden terrace is ideal for alfresco dining on long sunny afternoons where you could enjoy a wonderfully tasty antipasti board and perhaps a chilled glass of Italian Chardonnay. What could be better?"

Great place to go and eat, really nice atmosphere and lovely restaurant. Staff were fantastic, really polite and welcoming. Well priced for the quality of food you get. Parking around the back on Talbot Road and plenty of seating. Must book in advance. Must visit!
Nice large portions of the starter and main. Delicious lamb Ragu, it was very rich and hearty. Friendly staff who served us quickly.Food: 5/5
Should have done many many reviews before this one for Zara! Me and my family have been coming here for 6+ years. Over that time we have never, ever had a bad experience or a bad meal. The consistency on quality is incredible, never had a bad meal, ever! We came back from Sorrento in 2019 after having fresh calamari over there, the day after we came back we went to Zaza and I ordered the calamari which I always get and it was hands down better than the one I had in Sorrento. Really cannot fault this place, the service is always brilliant as well, always prompt and friendly and have always catered to special occasions for us!
Lovely Italian restaurant in a very old and quaint historic building. Service is quick and efficient staff very efficient. Food is outstanding quality and menu had plenty of choices. Drinks menu also has very good selection. Stairs to upper floor are steep and narrow so if you have mobility issues I suggest you ask for a table on ground floor.....but toilets also upstairs which is a nuisance. It's always busy so reservations are a good idea.
As the organiser of a luncheon for a number of Toastmasters I am pleased to say our private dining experience could not have been more successful on the 26/10/2022. The food and service was excellent. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our group. Our waiter was excellent. I am based in Kent, how about opening a branch in Canterbury? Well done, hope to visit again one day. Trevor Smith Professional Toastmaster.
We always have a nice time here. The staff are always friendly and there is a good choice of wine. The food is good with some lovely starters and pasta dishes. The restaurant itself has lots of character and different rooms which also makes for a nice experience and atmosphere.
Genuinely impressed. Attended a large pre Christmas lunch as a group of 15. Food was plentiful tasty and delivered in a timely manner. Staff were attentive and friendly. Great value for money. Will definitely dine here again.Food: 5/5
A delightful restaurant inside a small, old building..lots of character. Staff attentive and professional. Atmosphere good, children welcome. Food yummy. Due to age of building, toilets are up narrow, steep stairs.Food: 5/5
I have come to restaurant many times. With a large group including young children to really small. This place always great for the town of Rickmansworth. I like the different decor in each section of the restaurant . There is no baby changing facilities. Toilets are located upstairs which for anyone who has difficulty going up and down stairs would find hard. Lunch set menu is really good value for money.
Although we were a walk up we were seated straight away. It was busy, but the staff were attentive and friendly. Food was absolutely delicious. My second time there and would definitely go back! xxFood: 5/5
