Stunning food in a quaint, intimately modern, boutique like restaurant.nnI was there as part of a large group of 18, given there were other diners, the two waitresses were brilliant, offering a prompt and efficient service where nothing was too much trouble.nnThe food was quite honestly the best Italian food I have ever had. The selection on offer was varied and catered for many tastes. The prawns were particularly favoured by the group.nnI highly recommend trying this resteraunt if you are local. If you are not local, find a way to make a visit.
Fabulous food & fabulous service as always. Went today for lunch and had a mixture of starters & Cypriot meze. Everything was delicious but the moussaka is to DIE for. A firm favourite of ours. Zamanis never fails to impress and deserves all the credit as Ashby’s best restaurant!

Don't normally leave reviews but I had to do this. Went for a lovely meal here last night that was perfect. During the meal I mentioned to the waitress that I really missed having one of the main meals on the menu because I stopped eating meat. I asked if there was any chance they could make it without the meat next time I visited. She checked with the chef and said he will give it go. She added if you come back tomorrow night and he will create it for me so I can take it home and try it. I offered a few times to pay for this but they said no as they are just trying out. So I just picked it up and devoured it as it was delicious. Massive thank you to everyone at Zamanis. This is service and food at its best.
What a great little restaurant, this place is a little gem in Ashby. We managed to get a table for our alphabet date night which ended up as I for Italian, we wanted to stay clear of pizza so we chose other items on the menu. My girl had the rigatoni and I had king prawn and chorizo, both were good portions and served at a reasonable time from ordering. There was a slight draft when the door was open but I did get an apology from the staff for this, I didn't mind to much though. Overall we had a great experience and would be happy to go back, they just need to make sure the premium beers are fresh, that's what lost them a star.
