I did a DTS here and it literally changed my life! The community on the base is so lovely and the base is so nice, perfect size, really pretty! The leaders are so good! Strongly recommend it! If you think about doing a program or school here, do it!
I made multiple trips to this centre and spent several nights while travelling to my final destination. YWAM is a first-rate training facility for discipleship courses. Volunteers and staff are welcoming and kind.
Went there with my kid on a weekend, picnic in the lawn and my little one rode scooter a little bit, not knowing it is not open to the public in the weekend. A lady at her 50's came out from a house, said she's from the church and live there. She asked who are we and what are we doing there. It was not friendly and the attitude was quite rude and arrogant. I was astonished especially knowing she's a person with religion.....
The place that transformed my life. Literally I walked in one person and walked out changed. Never thought such a transformation could be possible. DTS Class of 2007, I will never forget my experience here. I walked in unsure of my relationship with God, hurt by a past of bullying and rejection. I was prayed upon on my first day here and told God would heal me... and he did. I walked out confident in who I was as a child of God. I will never forget this place. Thank you YWAM Harpenden! This base played a huge part in shaping the woman I am today. It's also a beautiful environment in a perfect little town. This is a YWAM base of genuine people, if you want a missionary experience this is the place to go.
I have lived there all my life and kids make frieds right away because there are kids in differant ages and gender right now i have six best friends
