I am an inpatient at the moment I've had a really good experience so far, the staff are very friendly and helpful it's wheelchair accessible and even though the staff are under pressure they keep smiling and doing their best. They cope with all sorts in their daily routine and they still have time to speak to you if you concerned about anything, I hope that the staff will get the help they deserve.
Attending Audiology, early Sept 2022 due to damage to one earpiece. Both ear pieces were replaced for more modern versions, by Taylor having had them for over 6 years. Appointment on time and received excellent service - as I have always had by this department in over 7 years. Re-visited late Oct 2022 for calibration of new hearing aids issued as replacements during last visit in Sept 2022. More up to date technology - even now with a phone app in order to do various adjustments without actually touching earpieces. Taylor and Vicky highly courteous, efficient, friendly and yet professional. Probably the most on time, highly efficient department in the whole of the hospital. I can not praise the Audiology team highly enough.
As with any hospital, car parking a nightmare, despite that the staff go above and beyond, cafe facilities and staff, all volunteers, excellent.
I had to ask a nurse were to go and she kindly showed me all the way to the door I needed.nThe guy doing the scan was very good he explained everything he was doing he also answered all my questions and even showed me what the problem was and how it worked so now I understand it a lot better than I did before I went so that was a positive and interesting day
Like most hospitals lots of wating around and cancelled appointments
