I don't normally leave negative reviews but in this instance I feel compelled to.

It's 7am and I'm in need of an emergency plumber (24 hours). I've checked many websites and came across Your Plumbing Services who quote "We pride ourselves on no hourly charges, and we do not charge for call out. We only charge for the work we do not for turning up! Prices are based on the criteria of the work to be done."

I decided to phone them and spoke to a polite gentleman who tried to diagnose my problem before indicating he would be happy to come and visit my home. Great just what I needed all good so far.

I then asked how much he charged and despite being 7am he said "At this time of night it'll be £100 to 'look' at the boiler and £80 during the day before any works".

Having read all the other reviews it's evident that they offer a quality plumbing service with great customer service so in conclusion they either haven't updated their website in a while or use the FREE call out service they quote to get you on the hook.

Michael, thank you for coming to our home emergency Saturday evening. It was a pleasure to have you in our home, you were polite, friendly and extremely professional. You tested our heating system to eliminate other possibilities before you identified the blockage in my water pipes and more importantly the pipes into the boiler. You were at my house for 3 hours and charged us as per the original quote. You were thorough and efficient and I would have no hesitation in having you back or recommending you to others. If was a pleasure meeting you, wish all plumbers were like you!

Offered a quote immediately which we agreed to. Arrived earlier than expected and found the issue quickly. Very friendly, very fast and helped us to understand the problem so we can keep an eye on it from here on, and call him back out if it worsens. Turned out that the problem was something simple but worth every penny because of the excellent service and Michael's cheery nature, especially first thing on a Sunday morning! Would absolutely recommend and will be using his services again.

Michael arrived well within the hour and set to work straight away, a very professional man with great customer service. Hassle free and went above and beyond his work. I would recommend him to anyone. He was polite, well spoken and completed the task ahead of him. You'll get no problems from this plumber
