‘Your Scotland Tour’ was the greatest decision we made for our recent trip to Scotland.  Ross was extremely patient with us he adapted the interests of all members of our family into a feasible itinerary, which also included Scottish gems he recommended we see while visiting.   During the trip we were lucky enough to have Ross as our driver and guide.  We were impressed by not only his great driving, but his ability to avoid sheep and herd cows that got in our way.   Ross provided a wealth of information on such things as tipping, restaurant recommendations and both the sites and history of places we saw along the way.  Ross was adaptable with our itinerary when bad weather struck and was always prompt and communicative.  We would love to travel with ‘Your Scotland Tour’ again sometime in the future.

YST provide unparalleled service and I recommend them in the highest possible way. Ross crafted and led a dream-come-true whisky adventure on Islay for me in March. He was communicative during the planning stage and had a genius suggestion to explore Kilmartin Glen on our way back to Edinburgh. The best part: Ross was a fantastic companion throughout the journey with lots of good stories and local knowledge to share. *Chef’s kiss* for the while experience!

Ross built a custom tour of the eastern coast of Scotland Dundee to Abroath to Dundee to Inverness for my husband and I in September of 2022 and it was absolutely perfect!  Our guide was Gus and he took us to so many off the beaten track spots for Scotch tastings, wildlife, castles, food and music.  Gus was a pleasure to travel with, so knowledgeable with a great sense of humor.  I would give 10 stars if they were available!

Ross was terrific fitting in as much as possible into an itinerary for the 2 days we had. He offered a ton of input and advice, both for our tour and our stay in Aberdeen in general. He was able to take our vague input we didn't have any specific to do/see things, just wanted to explore the area and create a unique and unforgettable experience. Ronald was an amazingly friendly and knowledgeable guide, and kept our drives between stops very entertaining. Definitely worth every penny for the customized service and private experience. Can't recommend these guys enough!

We started our process of planning a trip to the Hebrides with a lot of questions that you both responded to quickly and with the specifics we needed to get comfortable signing on with Yourscotlandtour.  Now that our week with Dave is done and we have been home and reflected on the tour we had - in a word it was terrific. Dave picked us up at our hotel in Edinburgh and once the car was loaded everything went smoothly.  With the flexibility built into the itinerary he was able to plan days with us and see what we wanted to see. If there was a beach or scene or some dunes we liked it was no trouble to stop and give us time to wander. In short the day to day activities felt more like a collaboration. Having said that we cannot speak highly enough of Dave. It was simply a pleasure to spend the week with him.

I SAY .... TRUST THESE GUYS ... they know their SCOTLAND & what they are doing ... :  We had ambitious plans to visiting everything and we only had 14 days over Xmas and New Year.  During the planning stage, Ross advised on the time of year we were visiting and what it would be like with regards to travel, and to be prepared for closures & possible bad weather.  We provided our interests and a list of what we wanted to do and decided to leave the rest to the guys /  experts ... they planned our itinerary ...  Surprise surprise, they managed to get most of our requirements in and where it was not possible due to closures or expected weather conditions, alternatives were planned for us.  We had a gr8 time and the advice given for our stay was "spot on" and it made the trip more meaningful and enjoyable.  Family and I would recommend these guys to anyone who want a cost effective adventure with the Magic of Scotland ... History - Castles, Ruins, Historical battlefield, Sights - Lochs, Glens & Highlands, Off the beaten track Hidden Gems - Farmhouse, Pubs and local specials, Whiskey - Exploring the "Water of Life" distilleries.  I can go on and on ... but I think you get the idea ... ;  Cheers Ross for taking good care of us.

We decided to go to Scotland 3 days before leaving the US. Given the lastminute request and all the sites we provided, Ross and Dave did a great job of planning and showing us Scotland. We provided a “wish list” and Ross managed to fit everything on our 3-day itinerary. I really appreciated the quick response to all correspondence and how the trip was planned, from the perfect Scottish inn Moulin in Pitlochry, to the 5-star Hotel Ness Walk in Inverness. We were able to see the beauty of the highlands to long history of Scotland. We enjoyed the company of our driver, Dave, who seemed like an old friend by the end of our trip. Dave was knowledge and always thought about what we wanted to do and gave us options here and there about the routes to our destinations. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our tour. We had always wanted to see Scotland and they provided the perfect tour.

4 Day Islay Distillery Tour - Highly Recommended. As a group of six whisky enthusiasts, we wanted to visit as many distilleries as possible in a short space of time.  YourScotlandTours provided an unparalleled experience.  Ross devised the best time cost/time efficient itinerary possible that no other provider was able to match.  He was flexible and accommodating and was also very clear in providing good advice in what we could achieve. He arranged all of the logistics, booking accommodation and all distillery tours as well as lunches and dinner venues, all of which was clearly and efficiently communicated well in advance.  His knowledge of all things Scotland was encyclopedic and was always communicated clearly. From pickup in Glasgow on the Saturday morning to dropping us back to Glasgow on the Tuesday evening, Ross was an impeccable guide, organised, highly informative and very amusing company.  Highly recommended.

I cannot recommend Your Scotland Tour and Ross Shand highly enough!! Ross was an amazing and knowledgeable guide and host who worked with us pre-trip to nail down our itinerary for the week of touring we intended to do over our 2 week visit. He took the time to understand what our interests were and made recommendations based on what he thought we'd enjoy...all of which we found, when we were on our tour, absolutely spot on and felt tailor made just for us.  Inspite of the fact that our trip to Scotland was over probably one of the most challenging period for tours...spanning over Christmas and New Year where a lot of places are either closed or inaccessible due to the weather and the days are short it's dark by 4.30pm...Ross managed to work out a plan to get the most out of everyday. So we not only got to the distilleries, we toured the highlands/lowlands and everything in between...castles, ruins, lochs, glens, mountains and battlefields, bridges, amazing forest nature walks and waterfalls, all while being at once schooled on the history and facts as well as entertained by Ross who is hilarious and great fun on the road.  We stopped at lovely little pubs, inns and even a farmhouse restaurant, on and off the beaten tracks, for our meals while on the road where the food was amazing and I learnt about traditional Scottish dishes. Even the accommodation recommended/arranged for us had history, heritage and beauty you couldn't help but appreciate.  Best holiday ever!
