Everyone loves a good ole bookshop to furtle around and browse in. This is a very good bookshop, well organised with a comprehensive stock of books on all subjects. Very reasonably priced too. Ebullient character of an owner who is helpful and knowledgeable. You even get given a set of ladders to access titles on the upper shelves. Well worth a browse, even if, like me, you really don't need any more books. I still made purchases, oops!

I have been going to this bookshop in Pickering for a few years now. It is fantastic and now my grandchildren go and buy books and love it. The gentleman who owes the shop is very friendly and his knowledge of books is really good. Would definitely recommend it.

This is a real gem. A great selection of used books at reasonable prices.

OMG!!! . I have never been to a bookshop like this.I was on holiday in pickering and popped in to pick up a couple of books but left with 23.So many to choose from and they seemed to have every author, and not just 1 or 2 of their books but the whole series.If I lived nearer I would go in every week!!. I will definitely go back again if I'm in the area and even said to my husband that it would be worth a 4 hour drive just to go to this shop.Loved it and well worth a look.

A fantastic bookshop with so much on offer! Lots of books in really great condition and some new releases too, which I wasn't expecting. They had almost every author you could want, and I loved that they had plenty of series with every book - so frustrating when you need the next in the series and it isn't there! Definitely recommend a visit, and we're hoping to go back out of tourist season so hopefully there'll be even more great finds.

A unique book shop with thousands of books . With all the popular Authors and a vast range of topics. They are all second hand and the owner excepts other books from you and discounts this against any new purchase. Worth a visit if in Pickering just near the Railway station. Owner helpful if looking   for anything in particular. Massive selection of Railway books.

Excellent book shop with a great variety,  unfortunately the owner took the edge off the experience, sure he meant to be jovial, but found his demeanour somewhat arrogant and judgemental.

Always a pleasure to visit when we go to Pickering. The owner knows his books and what he has in stock.

Les the owner is a lovely guy can't do enough for you. A fantastic range of books at Great prices. Had quite a few books from here. Can highly recommend.
