Wonderful masjid, visited York and was so happy to find a place to pray Dhur and Asr. The women's door was shut but we went round to the men's part and asked if they could open the womens side, which they did.
It's quite a spacious mosque, very well maintained and clean. Ample parking space also available.
I was visiting York yesterday and I went to this mosque but I was kicked out of the mosque due to kids Quran class being held. It's such a shame that it's such a lovely mosque but it's getting wasted due to only opened at Salah times. I also found the staff to be quite rude. I won't be going there again.
