Just driven to the depot 40 minutes away to collect my parcel 1of 2 items that were both ordered together - 1 has been delivered and the 2nd has a separate tracking number for whatever reason? Having waited 2 days nothing had arrived and as I'm going away tomorrow I need to Christmas gift thats inside I thought id drive to the depot. Your online hours say 6pm. Get there and it shuts at 2:30pm! You need to update your website! Not happy at all. There is no phone number to talk to anyone either.
I will never buy from ebuyer again because the company they use to deliver YODEL are the worse I’ve ever come across in my 37 years of living . He pulled up in his van at the wrong address, my partner was upstairs so rushed out and he was gone. He must have knocked once and chucked the calling card in my neighbours house and he was gone. Absolutely laughable then you can’t get though to your local depo as it directs you to a different number with a automated voice . I actually clicked collect at depot which is 20 mins drive away just because it would be easier only to find out I might not be able to collect until 3 days time. The app doesn’t give updates when it should. I mean how do they get away with it, I actually paid for this service. It’s day light robbery
Today has been the last straw for me with Yodel. I have been patient in the past, but todays the straw that has broken the camels back. An Inpost collected parcel was assigned to them to deliver to my address in Wiveliscombe. On past occasions of failure to deliver I have had to remonstrate directly with the depot in South Molton who at one point refused to accept that my postcode satnav location doubles up with another address in the town. Painfully I managed to sort it out with them and for a while they managed to deliver, but not today. After staying in all day so that I could assist the driver if he turned up, the tracking screen, which tracked up to my town, went mysteriously blank with van location and a message saying problem identifying location AGAIN, inviting me to call them, but surprise surprise, THERE ARE NO OPERATORS AVAILABLE TO TAKE YOUR CALL SHOWED ON SCREEN. Three times they’ve tried and failed to deliver this parcel. The fact that there were obviously no other parcels to deliver in the town and loss of onscreen tracking sayS to me that the driver just could not be bothered. This company is the ONLY company that consistently fails to find my address in the middle of the town, not the countryside, the town. Incompetence doesn’t cover it at all because these events have a nasty habit of occurring on a Saturday when the depot is closed. So during the week you phone the depot, and you get a robotic female voice offering to do what you’ve just done and got the same message she’s about to tell you after wasting more of your valuable time. The parcel could not be delivered, please call the chat line. It is so rare for me to have to leave negative feedback, for anyone, but a group of five year olds on tricycles could deliver parcels more efficiently without satnavs. What I have found is an almost robotic belief by their drivers in their satnav system, the ONLY system that cannot find my address. Making local enquiries that would help them locate my address does not appear to be in their training. I have, in sheer frustration, fixed a card next to my front door with my full address and name on it to confirm they have the right address. What more do Yodel of South Molton need to fulfil the contract to safely deliver my parcel? Blood? UPDATE: credit where it’s due. The parcel arrived today clutched by a courier called Chris, who has been away, and staff from another site, not familiar with the geography of where I live, had difficulty finding my address although I still maintain that with common sense it’s really not rocket science. Chris could not have been more apologetic, and obviously gives his best to the job, I just hope that Yodel appreciate guys like him that fly the flag to offset maybe what amounts to questionable management, it wouldn’t be the first time. Thank you Chris for restoring my faith.
Have been waiting for 2 parcels for a week now, have tried web chat who were no help, have tried phoning, also no help. I’ve suggested I could pick up from depot but apparently that’s not available, also I can’t be given a delivery date, I’m not happy!
Would be zero stars, but system won't let me. Awful company, really, really awful. I stayed home all day for them to fail to deliver my parcel. The next day, they gave me a 7-9pm time window, but they failed to deliver because the driver could not find the address. Driver/company didn't consult google maps, didn't ask in at the blindingly obvious open pub next door could have literally stood on the pavement and asked through the door, didn't have the common courtesy to contact customer. Really, really awful. I recommend avoiding this courier at all costs.
Stayed in all day on the 2nd attempt did not turn up, now I have to go 30 miles round trip to pick it up, it was a Christmas present so I might let the send it back to seller never again will I use this company,
The absolute worse company I have ever ever dealt with in my life. Absolutely shocking customer service, with absolutely no care about the things they are actually delivering.
Poor comucation ,cards not left in letter box, waiting 2weeks for delivery, had to take day off work to wait for parcel still no delivery
