According the tracking page and app my parcel was reportedly out for delivery and returned to depot 5 days in a row, so I decided to collect it at the depot. I went to the depot on the date given for collection only. 30 minutes and various excuses later I was informed that my parcel was somewhere in the building but not where they had expected it to be. When I asked them to look again I was told it had in fact been lost in the backlog and they didn't believe it had ever really been sent out for delivery in the first place. Apparently they had been updating the app to say it was out for delivery so people thought their items were coming. A reverse order has apparently been put in and I should be able to collect my item in two days time. But they can't give me any guarantees. I asked where and how I could complain and I was told to see the website and email them or use web chat. So far the web chat had consistently stated try again in a few minutes as they are currently unavailable!!! Terrible customer service!!! VERY and other major online retailers using yodel need to review their delivery services!!!
Would have been a delivery company, if they actually delivered. Have been waiting for parcel for almost a week, 1st time driver approaches address, claims to have attempted delivery, left a calling card, no such thing. 2nd time, apparently on my street, for over an hour only for parcel to go back to depot. 3rd time, driver out for delivery, but no update for over 1.5hours, most probably hasn't even left depot. This is really frustrating, with the addition of not actually being able to speak to someone that can provide useful updates or explanations. This company needs to change a lot of things, starting with listening to customers' concerns, given similar complaints in other reviews.
I subscribe to Naked wines which I love! However, I am thinking of cancelling because they use Yodel delivery service. Yodel are absolutely shocking! They are totally unreliable and unprofessional! They NEVER deliver on the date I ask for or they can’t find my address or they lie that they tried to deliver or they go to the wrong address. They must think folk are in all day everyday awaiting them to maybe getting it right. I pick days I’m home and they’ve failed to deliver this order twice and now without asking me they’ve changed the date . Don’t use YODEL
Yodel have my parcels in my local depot since late Friday evening & was due to be delivered on the Saturday. I contacted them using their web chat Saturday & was told parcels were out on deliveries but failed to arrive. So contacted yodel using web chat again & got disconnected twice on the Monday & today Tuesday the information & another web chat shows parcels are still at the depot awaiting driver & van for items to be loaded. The adviser couldn’t assure me that the delivery would be today but was told to wait another 24 hrs before I can raise a dispute. This has got to be the worst delivery company out there as my parcels are meant to be next day delivery. Also this is not the first time I have had issues with deliveries & use other couriers but Yodel has been the one consistently who never seem to deliver when expected & one company I use often must have a contract with this sad excuse for deliveries, going on my experience & reading other comments from people who feel similar & had issues with Yodel………… Frustrated to say the least!
This is my third day of waiting for a delivery. Yodel van was in my street last night and the driver reported an attempted delivery and said he put a card through my door. Complete lie. He sat in his vehicle for a couple of minutes then drove off. Even the online chat, which was amiable, cut me off three times. I'm told it will be delivered today but no tracking information is available. The driver posted a photograph of a row of house's nowhere near my home, I assume he parked in the street to record a stop on his vehicle tracker but he was not at my home.
Workplace bullying is rife. "Naming and Shaming" self employed drivers due to their own mismanagement is part of the Yodel culture. Management think they can treat drivers like something stuck to the sole of their shoe and are under the impression that drivers will accept that treatment. There's no loyalty to their workforce so it's only natural that their workforce will do the quickest least customer focused deliveries since you're only paid for what's delivered. It's unfair on the end customer but spending hours each day unpaid loading and locating parcels grinds away at you for earning peanuts and putting up with bullying before you even leave the depot.
I’ve been using this service from quite a long time now almost 2 years during this period Ive got many incident very the buyer says the item was not delivered and I had to escalate issue to the management team and they resolved the issue with in 3 to 4 days. I believe they have improved a lot and the most quickest service during this period
Drove to depot to collect my parcel, depot had lost it. Tracking shows it has turned up there again. Customer services are saying I have to drive there again to pick it up when the depot said they would sort re-delivery if they found it. I have no way of contacting the depot to find out what is going on or if the parcel is even there now. 40 mile round trip to get to the depot. Absolute shambles.
1star is too good for this cowboy operation!! my parcel has been out for delivery for the last 3 days and then its updated on the tracker that it has been returned back to the Depot, i've taken acreen shots of every update as proof. I've been waiting 3 full days and no driver has come to my door. You can't even get through to anyone to complain or organise to go and collect the parcel from them in effect doing Yodel's Job for them. UTTERLY DISGRACE SERVICE!! AVOID!!
Unfortunately Google doesn't allow you to leave less than one star. Why businesses continue to use these cowboys I'll never know other than they are cheap! Waiting for a parcel to be delivered for an xmas present and the tracking shows as the parcel arriving at the local depot yesterday at 17:43. At 17:45 they updated to "RETURN TO SENDER We tried to deliver your parcel but were told you have moved. Please contact your sender to update your address", so they managed to get from Bellshill to Cumbernauld in 2 minutes and somehow were told I'd moved from the home I've lived in for years. ABSOLUTE LIARS. When you pay drivers peanuts they are going to do this kind of stuff to avoid going out of their way or finishing late in the day. Not the first time I've seen fake statuses from Yodel drivers either! Bang goes that xmas surprise!
