Ok so this is an excellent place to chill.. they seem really big on their principles and policies, so you must be an adhering fellow to the latter end.. nice place if you are low on budget and need to pair up, also come along with all you hygiene essentials .. like I had 6 bunks in my room, I don't know if there's a single room you would have to find out. In general a cool environment and did I mention they are a great supporter of youths and kids.. you can be a contributor if you see the amazing work they doing with the kids out there
Me & my friend got an absolute BARGAIN on a private en-suite room with a bunk, they put us in a bigger room with double bunk so even better cos we could both use the bottom bunks.nnSpacious as hostels go, I didn’t eat the foods but breakfast was available, siazable lounge area downstairs, we were able to get snacks/drinks upon very late entry after getting home Saturday night water etc. Staff on the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again, no complaints.
The hostel is a decent place to stay for a relatively cheap price however there are a couple of things I would note. There is very little sound proofing as you can hear everything on the floor you are staying on and could also hear the noise outside however it became white noise. Towels are also not provided so ensure you bring your own otherwise you can rent one. The nearest tube station is Rotherhithe which is served by London Overground and is about 5-10 min walk or there is Canada Water which is served by Jubilee line and is about a 15 min walk. From my room I had a great view of the north side of the water.
Thought it was brilliant here. Outside the city centre enough that it was very quiet. Ferry over to Canary Wharf and up and down the river fromnthere on the Thames Clipper, good bus links and overground 5 mins walk up the road. Shared areas clean and quiet. Suitable for the kids. No noise in the hostel. Great nights sleep. Helpful staff. Beer on tap tasted great. Breakfast was decent. Table football. Cheep as chips for London. Had an amazing 3 nights stay! Thanks for the hospitality.
My worst hostel experience to date:nHad to pay nearly 3 pounds for an extra towel.nRooms were extremely hot and uncomfortable. Bedding is like a plastic material that just makes you sweat profusely. There were NO working electrical outlets at all in our room. The lock on the window was broken so it was always just perpetually open. The shower was small, and the water temperature was very inconsistent. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly or wouldn’t flush at all. And the walls are very thin, you can pretty much hear what the entire floor is doing. Did not enjoy my stay.
