Cracking traditional pub, lovely beer garden. Great menu selection . My husband had the steak and kidney pudding and he said it was the best he had. HUGE PORTION sizes. Kid-friendliness: Good size portions for kids menu, usual selection, chicken, fish, sausage, burger.
Beautiful food with lots of choices, warm welcome, lovely service Great options for allergies as all freshly made Gluten and dairy free
Hell of a find. Excellent pub lots of parking with both great indoor and outdoor spaces. Plenty of things within garden for children to keep them entertained. Food was fantastic big menu to choose from as well as a specials board. Portions are excellent sizes as well as the service really friendly and welcoming. First time ever going to this pub and will not be the last!
Proper old style country pub with proper home cooked food. Lots of lovely fresh veg. Massive portions! Loads of parking. Lovely garden.Food: 5/5
We ordered a prawn cocktail/roast chicken/fish and chips. It was great meal and were huge portions! We enjoyed the food and the interior was beautiful!Food: 5/5
A lovely lunch out with lifelong friends. A very extensive menu, I had the gammon, it was a decent sized portion with two thick gammon steaks topped with pineapple. The pub itself is a traditional country pub with loads of bits and pieces decorating the walls. Great lunch although the building itself was a little on the cold side, it did explain why the bar area with the open fire was very busy.
Oh my goodness this place needs 10 stars. Service was brilliant and friendly. Food came quickly. It was hot, home made big portions and very tasty. Fresh veg and plenty of it. I’m going back for more Liver and Onions and apple pie and custard. Massive menu. We all loved our dinners. Lovely seating area outside and dog friendly. Very good prices. Thank you
Had the roast beef. Vegetables was cooked well, not all soggy. The potatoes looked crispy, was a bit disappointed as they were on the soft side. Kid's menu was good. The chicken nuggets went down well. Have parking on site. Can be a bit of a pain to get across the traffic.Food: 4/5
Nice, clean old style pub/restaurant. Wood beam low ceilings farm house style decor. Child friendly with outdoor seating and play area, bird cage outside, tree house. Food is average, IMHO opinion just way too hot, I can assume its microwaved its so hot and my steak and Kidney pudding was hard on base and edges. Average food mains price £11 dessert £6. Good amount of parking.
