Regularly drive across town, passing closer restaurants for my Monday morning fix of harvester breakfast, the chefs are consistently good & the waiting staff are friendly & always will to keep you topped up with coffee tea & toast. Yvonne was busy this morning but had control of multiple tables. Parking: Ample space
Went for breakfast/brunch.1030-12 Only two members of staff running and they did wonderful. Everyone was very lovely, food was great and well priced. But overall just pleasantly surprised by how good the customer service was.
Service here is fantastic. We were met at the door by our waitress Yvonne. From the start she was fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. She was knowledgeable on the menu and had some good recommendations, She was always smiling and happy to bring us what we needed. All the staff were attentive and working hard, a real credit to the business. The food was cooked buy a chef called Luke and even though I'm picky about how I have my food cooked it came out to perfection. It tasted as good as it looked. The presentation was fantastic and tasted great. With staff like these we will definitely be back here again. If i could give it 6 stars i would. Vegetarian options: They have a very large menu for vegetarians. Kid-friendliness: Staff are friendly and interact well with kids. Its lovely to see. Parking: It has a very large carpark with more than enough spaces Wheelchair accessibility: Access into the building is great with double doors to allow now extra access if needed. There is a ramp that goes down to one side of the restaurant to enable wheelchair access. All in all all the access here is great. Dietary restrictions: You are asked before you are sat if you have any dietary restrictions and this is passed on to the waiting staff and the kitchen and they do everything they can to accommodate you.
10 of us visited the Yeoman for a family Christmas get together yesterday. The restaurant was warm and inviting. We were served by Tim who was very friendly and attentive and made our visit even better. All the meals were good and as we expected. This wasn’t our first visit and definitely won’t be our last.
Food took a long time to come out. 1 person had her meal and side about 10mins after everyone else - and it was burnt solid. Our waiter was lovely and we did get a refund. She was fast at bringing drinks and taking orders etc. Plenty of room at tables but on warm day the radiator was on next to me and it was so hot! Probably would have asked if I could turn it down, but I didn't.
Been twice now over the last couple of months, nice place, clean and homely feel about it. Met by friendly staff, not too busy but busy enough to make a good atmosphere. Great food quick service and reasonably priced. Will be back for sure.Food: 5/5
We ordered a Takeaway for collection. When we went to collect it went smoothly and was very hot on the hand over. Once arrived home we found an item missing. After a quick phone call, the manager on duty told me that he would be with me very shortly. With in moments of his phone call he had arrived with the piping hot food. Unbelievable service and went above and beyond my expectations.
Fantastic service as always at The Yeoman. Not been for a while but great to see that the high standards are still there. We had a brilliant server and the food was great. It was just a shame my eyes were too big for my belly! Dietary restrictions: Allergy information is clearly laid out in an easy to follow format on iPad.
Absolutely shocking we been sat waiting to be served with drink not even food for 30 mins all the staff floor just walking around joking with each other, I had to order food and drinks at the bar as we got really fed up, The bar man CHARLES went absolutely above and behind the only person that actually cared so big Thank you to you!!! Food came when we was eating salads still it's nice to know you rushed with a food but didn't rushed to take our order! We finish eating no one even came to ask how is the food and when we finish no one even bothered to ask for desserts, so apart from bringing out dinner no one came to our table once! We have never experienced a service like this and we definitely won't be coming back!
The overall experience was ok but there were several annoying occurrences that took place that really did ruin the experience. We weren’t sat at a table the host just pointed to it from afar, we were given no menus, and the whole area was so so Smokey our eyes were sore. We waited ages for a drink order to be taken and we asked 3 different servers for menus. We finally got menus and our drinks and ordered food. The food took just over 45 minutes to arrive and that was after me watching it sat on the pass for 10 minutes. Not good. The food however was beautiful and one server stood out to us she was wonderful I sadly didn’t get her name. Having said that the portion and food spec clearly wasn’t being followed in the kitchen as our meals had different portions of some items. We had the same meals but they were not portioned the same. I believe it was too busy and the staff were bare minimum to control company costs. It was obvious. After our meal when paying it was an absolute embarrassment as the card machines didn’t work and made us look like idiots with dodgy cards. I believe the machines were new - have you never done a dry test and check before using them?? Wasn’t fun sitting there trying different cards.
