I hate giving bad reviews but the service that I was given this morning was beyond disappointing. I called to book a taxi an hour in advance so I could go for a job interview. The taxi didn’t show up, I didn’t get any text about delay and when it was already more than 10 minutes late I called for a taxi from another company that showed up in 2 minutes. I called the Yellow Taxi to cancel the first taxi and was told that the driver was late and didn’t even hear a word of apology. I had another taxi booked to get back home for 11.30 and again, it was 15 minutes late. I don’t know what’s the point of booking a taxi in advance if they don’t show up on time. If you don’t have enough taxis because it’s busy just say it instead of making people wait for 15 minutes without any updates about the delay.
This has been a brilliant company used many times. Unfortunately we had the most rude driver in a blue Prius. My partner explained that normally we tip well but didn't feel inclined to do so on this trip as the driver had been very hostile. He drove off and shouted for the whole street to hear "**** You" This is unacceptable. I raised the issue immediately with the company, but they said the driver had already told them my partner was drunk and abusive, to cover his actions, she was sober and polite. They said they would escalate the matter to management and get back to me, but nothing has been heard. Its a shame one individual can affect your opinion of a local business.
The operators are very rude and unprofessional. This morning I booked a car for 9am I have called taxi office in advance at 8:40 am. Later on I realised that the operator didn't book it for me, I called again and she blamed the driver and didn't even bother to answer my questions, but just hang up on me. I have tried to call taxi office again, but the operator hang up on me twice. When the taxi arrived I have asked the driver and he told me that he was booked only after 9:00 ! Obviously the operator was lying! When I popped to the office to find out the operator's name and surname she refused to give me her details, so I can't make a formal complaint. The operator was very rude and I believe this is because I'm foreign, I genuinely believe she is racist. I think she disrespected me and hang up on me because she didn't expect me to come to the office. I still will make formal complaint and request investigation. Just because I have an accent doesn't mean I will handle lies and disrespect! This is absolute DISGRACE!
Would’ve given 5 but my return taxi is late. However, my taxi earlier today was early so I arrived in great time. Glen was so lovely! The journey was great. Let down that my return is late though…

Booked for a Hospital appt during rush hour on a Monday and back afterwards. Very prompt service, no queuing and friendly drivers. Will use again of ever needed.

Will not be using this company again was a regular customer, sent my partner home the man decided to pull up in bognor Town demand payment, was rude abusive threatened to charge more and said that apparently her partner was wasting his time when he pulled up seems these certain type of drivers like to do this to young women and scare them and make them feel intimidated do not recommend the taxi company do not use
Very quick service I called in a panic as the bus did not turn up and I had appointment in chichester to get to. Called and the lovely lady on phone reassured me I would get there on time. Thank you also to the driver who was super friendly and got me there on time.
**Do not use Yellow star*** They cannot be relied upon. I ordered a taxi whilst I was walking past a taxi with their drivers waiting for half an hour in advance and in the cold weather- after waiting 8 mins over after ordering in advance gave up and the rival taxi firm arrived quicker than yellow star. The people in the office are lazy - the call took a while to answer , I’ve had complaints from drivers saying the office isn’t transparent to the drivers. People in Bognor are not happy with Yellow star. Graffiti in the town isn’t called for but there are some aimed at Yellow Star. You guys need motivated office staff not lazy people!!! Get a grip Yellow star!!
