Spent four days in Donegal with a friend and this place clearly took the award for most delicious place we stayed at. I'll be honest, as impressive and beautiful Donegal is, as underwhelming has been my food experience. No disrespect, perhaps we just chose unluckily. The Yellow Pepper, however, was a pearl within Letterkenny. Lovely interior, a vibrant and colorful menu. Service top notch and friendly. Great selection of local ales and beers. Will definitely visit again!
Keep coming back to this restaurant, well worth the short flight for me. The food is amazing, great Vegan and Vegetarian options. Proper fresh food and it doesn't matter how busy it is the service is always exceptional. One highlight is a lady called Lara, she always makes us feel welcome with her lovely smile and conversations. Lovely atmosphere and reasonably priced. This is my favourite restaurant by far. Vegetarian options: Great choice of vegetarian and Vegan
The place is lovely for a family dinner and filling lunch. Portions are quite generous and the food is delicious. They have vegan and vegetarian menu which is quite extensive. Shepardless pie and potato mash are exceptional! Staff is great as well.
Had read really good reviews but we were left disappointed. The squid starter was excellent, but the ribs were luke warm. We did mention this to the waitress and she apologised , we didnt say at the time as we would have been left with one of us eating and the other waiting We both had the lamb shank which was tasty but not exceptional. We felt that at the end of the night the staff were more interested in tidying up to go home rather than looking after their customers.
Great food, friendly staff. Went here for my wife's birthday and our anniversary. Food was delicious , I had the seafood platter and really enjoyed it. If you're visiting Letterkenny definitely try this gem of a place.
We popped in tonight while visiting the area for work. An amazing find, delicious food and lovely staff. I had the seafood platter.. it was delicious! Enough for two if you add in another side dish.Recommended dishesSeafood Platter
Excellent Letterkenny restaurant. I had the mussels to start. Exquisite! Great serve in an unctuous cream sauce. For main I had the chilli prawns and pasta. Excellent! Highly recommended.
We were in Letterkenny for the weekend and found this amazing restaurant. Four of us went there two couples on Sunday night last. We booked a table online earlier that day...they quickly replied and confirmed the reservation. When we arrived at 7pm the place was was buzzing...brilliant atmosphere! The four of us had a variety of food which was all absolutely delicious. The seafood platter is a must if that is your taste...probably the best I have ever eaten. We had an organic Spanish wine which was also very much to our taste. All the staff were lovely and very efficient. I would have no hesitation recommending this restaurant and we will definitely be back next time we are in that part of the country. Thanks to one and all for a very memorable evening.
Great place, nice vibe, a coat stand which is hard to get these days. Good Waiter. Was a bit quick coming out with the plates, possible Microwave use. Vegetarian options: Didn't notice that many Parking: In the middle of Letterkenny, parking at lunchtime difficult, no problems at night Wheelchair accessibility: Downstairs WC, So good.
Good food. Not more. But very good service and atmosphere.Food: 4/5
