I’ve been on a mission to find the best Sunday roast, and I’m thrilled to say my search has finally ended. The food was absolutely incredible – top quality, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the outstanding service. Despite how busy the place was, we were served by Molly, Debbie, and Ben, who delivered nothing short of 5-star service. Their attention to detail, warm hospitality, and professionalism really stood out.nnI can’t wait to return, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect Sunday roast. I’m definitely coming back!
The food is okay for the price, but I won't be rushing back. The service was almost non-existent; cutlery brought long after the food was delivered this is a service basic and completely unforgivable; staff had no idea about what wine was available to buy, or where to find it; we were left with empty plates for so long we were forced to stack them ourselves to get them out of our way. There were many more issues to point out, but I don't want to bore.nnMy overview is that the staff here need a much stronger and more interested manager who bothers to train them properly and comprehensively to create a good customer experience. That said the staff, as incompetent as they were, were all friendly and helpful.
Lovely little pub off the highstreet in Cheam. Good food, friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed the Steak and Venison Pie which was available on their Sunday menu. The mest was flavourful and tender. Would definitely come back here again for Sunday lunch
It's been a while since we were last here and was pleasently surprised its been redecorated. Also different staff and management, which was nice.nUnfortunately the roast dinner was horriblen£16 for this roast beef dinner, you can ask for extra roast potatoes, which were completely different to the ones initially served. Looked like Iceland specials. There were also 3 small slices of very dry looking grey beef. Looked like a frozen dinner. My wife did say the Yorkshire pudding and veg was nicenI had the steak and venison pie with chunky chips which was really nice, and the only reason I gave 2* for food not 1.
I reserved a garden table for 12 people. My booking required wheelchair access and buggy space. Debbie was very friendly, positive and accommodating. Food was lovely even though they were short staffed with one chef. Debbie really engaged with the people in this booking and it’s not often you get lovely customer service. Thank you.
