Really great food but that's reflected in the price. Well worth dining here. Good beer too.

Positive experience all round. A warm welcome and a lovely clean room with a huge ensuite. Lovely residents lounge for drinks after the meal. The meal was very good. I had mussels with frites and my wife had a rib eye steak. All food was very tasty. Staff were friendly and attentive - a good experience.

Our second visit , but our families fourth since 1965. Great room.  Gallons of history and  atmosphere.  Super bar,  lovely restaurant.  Great staff.  Spot on breakfast.  All in all  maintaining its deserved reputation.  We'll be back.
