Best bakery in Brighton, very friendly staff old school bakery!
My favourite place for an iced fruit bun, my bloke recommends the apple doughnuts and apple turnovers. Really scrummy Cornish pasties and sausage, beans n cheese pastry. My mum recommends their fruit cake slices and bread pudding! Very reasonable prices and lovely staff.
Best bakery by far. My son and I go there before we go to play golf every Friday for a freshly made roll. They are so tasty and the lady that owns the bakery is lovely and helpful.
This is my favourite bakery, in the whole world . The lovely Polish lady, is so friendly . The sweet treats are so good , I think they must have been made by fairies ‍. Best of all, are the bread rolls . I cant eat rolls from anywhere else now .
Most amazing bakery ever. Everything is fresh, tastes superb and is at a great price. Totally love this bakery and the lady who owns it is lovely. Fav is the Belgium bun with fresh cream
Having been to this store many times from childhood right the way through to adulthood, I am always a believer in supporting local businesses over bigger corporations and if I am honest this review sums it up for this establishment. I'm someone who has a sweet tooth and the products they sell here are top notch amazing quality items. A wide selection of items to chose and always a high standard of friendly warm and inviting attitude for customers both local and passerby. I have always recommended this store to be the best cake shop in Brighton and not many people realise it but this store does hell lot better quality products than the likes of greggs for example. If anyone reads and wants a place 5o get a treat at a bargain price.. Visit here as highly recommended..
I'm only putting 1 star not because the shop is awful or anything as jve not been there yet! Only so it allows me to leave a review ! I was after the phone number which I cant seem to find. As I wanted to see if they did a certain bread sourdough before I trundled over to the shop. As I live in North Portslade always heard great reviews but always forget its there. Id use it more if I knew what they sell. Hence the reason for the phone number. I'm sure it'll be a 5 star rating once in the shop & sampled their goodies. So please don't take this as a bad review as its NOT. they get back to me with a number as im sure ill be an avid customer afterwards.
