It was fun! I don't really go out to often any more but Yates's seemed good, good music, reasonable prices and the little dance floor made you feel like you didn't need to go to town to have a good old dance and let some steam off!! I go again
Great place for sports, food isn't the best though.
At times it can get busy here especially with football on the box Villa and England. There is a selection of real ales and the Lancaster Bomber is very good as of 21 February. Food is ok and inexpensive
Went to Yates last yesterday to watch the old football. Was served by ma man lard boy, big up yaself, did a sterling job #hefty Ordered some spicy chicken wangs and suckled on them till the cows came home. Still buzzing now about the whole thing to be honest, bless up
Ahhh... Yates, where do we begin, you know what you expect and what you expect isn't much but you get even less than that. From the moody grape purple decor to the regular stench of shame the evening after a busy Saturday night, this place disappoints on all fronts. Flat beer and what I can only imagine is Re-microwaved microwaved food make for the most unpleasant dining experience you are likely to come across. Now I'm not expecting high end cusiuine but come on they must be breaking plenty of hygiene laws feeding customers that Trollope. And the staff, well would it kill you to smile a little? One in particular, bowls around with a headset on like he is Billy big nuts staring down and intimidating customers. If I were on my death bed and the only thing that could save me would be eating a Yates treacle pudding, I'd be more than happy to meet my maker. Repulsive establishment.
Wow!! Yates is by far the best place for "BACON SANDWICHES" l have been all over Sutton / Tamworth / Lichfield and Yates in Sutton place their BACON in THICK sliced bread with a cuppa coffee x two is less than £5
Celebrated my birthday here last weekend fantastic night great music and atmosphere. DJ froggie goes out of his way to make the experience one to remember thank you x
Very nice and cosy place to have a latte.
This is the lowest of ratings I can give. We left the Brewhouse as two couples and tried to gain entry at 11:15. We were told it was full, yet as we walked away a couple were allowed entry! Complete discrimination by the door staff. Time to review the acceptance criteria! Muppets!
Good enough could be better. Cheap food but quality is basic. Good range if drinks better for night out then daytime meal.
