Room was poor. First, the bed was incredibly uncomfortable with bad springs in the mattress and bed itself barely slept. Walls thin, could hear the TV next door quite clearly. Crockery needed a clean only used one cup but it had a sheen of dirt on it. Please throw away the tub of condiments on the side as they all went out of date at least 2 years ago!! Reviews say quirky alot, not quirky at all just dated and full of trinkets
I would say hand on heart .this place is a diamond place. The host Angie put the heating on,so the place is warm on arrival.nThe reception is a quirky trinket cave,guarded by a Irish wolf hound called O mally.a very friendly dog indeed . It's a great place for a weekend stay . A good pub net door .ps Omally loves a piece of cheese.or anything else .big dog with an appetite to match. Quirky clean and unique with a pub next door. Lovely place no downsides and staff welcoming and pleasant. Will stay again when in area. It's now my come to place between jobs up here.
Excellent location for yarm, only 2 miles from the town and with a pub right next door.nThe rooms we stayed in, haystak and hay something next door were well equipped, iron, ironing board, washer/dryer, shower, full kitchen in one. Decorated in a very quirky way.nThe downside being we had a dog next door who was quite vocal through the night and the walls are thin and the beds unfortunately are probably the least comfortable I have ever encountered.nThe owners were incredibly nice and very welcoming.
The rooms are nice and cozy the lady at reception was very nice . Problem was the room full of absoule idiots next door drinking and playing music shouting slamming doors No consideration at all. seems you can hire a room and call all your mates around for a party till the early hours. Started about six at night and just kept going. We had a shared entry with the room of idiots so the noise was extreme.
