Used Yama for years and they never disappoint. The food is fresh and tasty and the ingredients are of high quality. The service is impeccable. They sent us the wrong dish this evening but immediately sent the correct one and let us keep the other one. They sent it along with more free food. Can't fault that! Thank you.

So I collected a couple of items and the salt and pepper chips was inedible so the foods served supposedly fresh I rang and collected right away they was stale like they’d been sat there since last night cold stale and not a drop of salt on them I called to give them a heads up on I probably won’t be the only one to complain tonight the guy on the phone just had no communication skills of customer service skills it’s a bloody good job that I made my homemade Chinese food this was just a little extra and saved me a little time I would not recommend unless you want a upset tummy

I was new to the area just over a year ago, and really fancied a Chinese as a 'treat'. Took the plunge and ordered online at Yama. First time, delivered promptly and tasted really lovely. Pretty much every time after that it's gone down hill temperature, taste, consistency & delivery-wise. The last 2 times, I've waited over 2 hours for an "up to 1 hour" delivery! No real apology extra prawn crackers/chips/anything?, just "Driver's on his way/yeah we're busy tonight". Still waiting, 25 minutes later...it's now 10:10pm?! Food just arrived...2.5hrs and I'm not even hungry now :- Soup, salty. Curry, gelatenous and tepid. Wings, tepid and not crispy whole raw onion?!. Think they need another driver he was polite enough though! Not sure I'll be ordering from here again sadly.

Ordered last week nearly £30 worth of food it took 2/12 hours to come when it did finally arrive it was cold and had items missing I was told on the phone I'd receive my next order for free but they have changed there mind this week defo not using this place again 1 star is too manyFood: 1/5

I have used this takeaway for a few months now. Food is always tasty, fresh and hot. Delivery is quick and on time. Was impressed last night ordered the banquet for 2 but made a couple of changes with the starters and sides. I put this request in the notes and they obliged. Still got plenty of leftovers for tea tonight. Very happy. Well done Yama.

Ordered my food over 2 hours ago and still not been delivered absolutely disgusting, I rang to ask where my order was 35 minutes ago it just arrived and the chicken was cold very disappointedFood: 4/5

We have ordered from here loads, and the food has never disappointed!! Tonight was no different- they accommodated all of our dietary requirements, and the food was amazing! They delivered the food themselves and was so sweet! Always so excited to order food from here

Best East Asian food in Batley area. Delivery is always quick and collection is easy. Staff are helpful and the food is always on point.
