We dropped by for dinner and got a table without booking in advance. The service was super friendly and efficient, and the prices were fair.nnThe food selection was good and the Fisherman's Pie was great. However the steak fries was not only in the wrong shape, but also below average in terms of taste, so -1 star for that. The banoffee tart was very good.nnOverall a very good experience and would recommend having dinner here - just stay away from the steak.
Brilliant!!! Everything was cooked to perfection & bursting with flavour especially the rib eye steak.nHad the chilli scallops for stater & they were so tender. My wife had the chicken ham & leak pie which was also full of flavour.
Friendly staff and nice decor. Really quiet during the mornings and never have to wait long. We've been quite a few times for breakfast and it's quite overpriced for a full breakfast to be honest. It's a chain and the same breakfast in their Wick branch is quite a bit cheaper. Good for coffee
We were touring the top of Scotland last Saturday and needed somewhere for lunch. I picked this place due to both being near where we were and the rating. When we got there, they were quite busy even though it was after lunch.nThe food quality was excellent. I especially liked the soup and the Mac & Cheese. The atmosphere is also really pleasant. The staff were excellent and attentive. I would certainly recommend here for lunch. Its an easy walk from the pedestrian zone.
The breakfast was exceptional. The Scottish breakfast in particular was delicious. The staff were so friendly and when we ordered a roll for our dog, they wrapped it up to keep it warm for him. A great start to a rainy grey day! Thanks guys.
