Stayed here for Easter weekend on a vw camping weekend. We absolutely loved it here as did the kids and dog. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hot showers clean facilities. Good food. Can't comment on the rooms. We shall be booking again very soon. ThanksService: 5/5
Spent Easter weekend camping here and it was fantastic with incredible views. Great pub, good beer, really nice food and all the staff are fantastic. Very dog friendly in the bar, the lounge is dog free place, we had a great time there. Brilliant karting track down the road, lots of opportunity for walking, a really good base for exploring that bit of Wales.
Stayed to use the campsite and got a breakfast. Positives : staff are really friendly. Lovely chilled out atmosphere no rowdiness with the pub etc. GREAT breakfast and a good price. The camping fields and around the lake are well kept. Pub interior is nice. It's a nice stay for the price for a few nights. Negatives: hygiene is not good. The toilets in the pub were not cleaned everyday as there was a dead insect on the sink for 3 days in a row it hadn't been wiped away. The facilities for campers are pretty gross.. fridge is revolting as are the campers toilets. I understand alot of people are using the same facilities but no one seemed to do any cleaning in the toilets at all... Sanitary bin was overflowing onto the floor - one toilet had explosive diarrhea stains that hadn't been cleaned for 3 days. If the hygiene were better I'd recommend this site to anyone as it is lovely otherwise. It's probably fine if youv got your own facilities in a van/motorhome but not a great place to rough it if your reliant on onsite facilities. Will come back again sometime to see if it was just a one off and the cleaner was off or something.
Room we stayed in was clean and comfy. The staff are all absolutely amazing and so friendly. All the meals we had over the weekend were really nice, but the breakfast was absolutely gorgeous only topped by the fantastic views. There is also camping available with fantastic veiws.Rooms: 5/5
VW Camping event this Easter weekend and what a good site with toilet and shower facilities. The pub itself is situated just off the A5 and the views surrounding the pub are superb. The restaurant serves great value food where you can get a good breakfast including free coffee and tea etc and juice as you like for only £8.50. Sunday lunch served up from £8.99. 12 till 4pm. Normal menu is also available. Staff are very friendly and helpfuI. Highly recommend this site and it is now added to my list of favourites to visit. Walkability: Walks to local village Food & drinks: Great value Menu and food.
Loved it and what a find. If you like being in the middle of nowhere with peace and silence, it's here. The Lady who I think owns it was really pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean, comfortable and we'll equiped with tea and coffee making facilities. The pub /restaurant was nice ,good food, beer and reasonably priced. The view from the restaurant was superb, looking over a small pond and church to the hills beyond. My only niggle was the bathroom door in the B&B which really banged as it closed and woke me up a few times. This is not an issue with the property more the fact it's so peaceful and still at night it gives you a bit of a start
Thank you for a lovely evening meal for all our family. Marget was a brilliant waitress, the food was tasty, the lady at the bar was very welcoming and the evening was great value. Restaurant was a great atmosphere but so was bar area. Thank you so muchService: 5/5
Beautiful setting, stunning gardens and pond. Staff are all really genuinely lovely. Service: 5/5
We called here for a meal while staying up the road. We was a party of eight. The food was very tasty and we was made to feel so very welcome by the extremely friendly staff who made an effort with the children in the party Would highly recommend
Just a fantastic place to stay, surrounded by nature's beauty in the Welsh mountains. Food was beautiful, local produce, the young chef cooked my steak to perfection, the whole team were just wonderful. Friendly, attentive, nothing was too much trouble oh the breakfast was lovely too! Freshly cooked with local produce. Would definitely stay here again.
