the only good thing about this gym is the price £10/month and it happened to be very near to my house. it has numerous pieces of equipment out of order constantly, which take months to repair, even the finger print scanner is broken so gaining access now means you have to wait for some one to let you in, the protective rubber flooring is all ripped up and being held down with duct tape observed over 2 years now and the hygiene is less than poor showers and toilets are disgusting. i have been to four X4L gyms and the castleford gym is a real let down, really brings down the company name and image. I have raised various issues with management but seen nothing change.
Cheap gym.....10-20 quid a month.. cant go wrong. Staff friendly and helpful. Had no issues at all. Also staff encourage members to speak to them if they have problem or questions. They always acknowledge you when you enter the gym.. really improved since JD took it over !
I am a Personal Trainer at Xercise4Less and they have a great range of equipment to cater for all your Health & Fitness needs.
Very busy gym. I went for around 4 months and in that time some equipment remained unfixed and therefore out of service. Which for a busy gym is no good. What ever you do as well, don't miss a payment other wise you slapped with a fine and when trying to get in touch with the right department that can remove it, you just get passed from pillar to post, I ended up cancelling my membership in the end.
Really great prices, and good equipment with a fantastic variety equipment. Classes also have a brilliant variety and are run professionally in a fun manor. Even at the busy time of the first Monday in January you're still able to get on the machines that you want to. Although you're paying less you get the same experience as anywhere with a crazy price for a membership!
Convenient location plenty of equipment even at buy times. Helpful staff are on hand to help support you, and at a reasonable cost you can have your own personal trainer. This works out at less than the cost of most other gyms monthly membership cost
Tried a number of gyms up and down the country and glad that this is my local. For £10 a month, you'd be hard pushed to find anything better. Big space, modern equipment, plenty of machines and none of the fluff that comes with a health centre gym spa, pool that push the price up. It can get busy at peak times, but there aren't many gyms that don't. Great value.
Absolutely luv x4less best gym ever great spinning and pump classes loads to do including treadmills and weights. Would definitely recommend it never 2 days the same do your own thing have a PT train you or do a class everyday. Best thing I've done joining met loads of new friends and old one's too. So go out there and join be a winner get motivated.
So I've been a member at this gym for what seems like forever, it's not the best gym I've been to, but it's got some good aspects, plenty of parking which is free!! and it's literally across the road from where I work. It's open till quite late so it's good for me to come for an hour or so after work and it's open till 8 on a weekend. It has got what seems like a million members, most of which seem to go on a Monday from 6 onwards, Monday is now my regular day off from the gym as the last few times I've been it was more time stood around waiting to use something, most of the time there's a decent amount of out of order signs on the machines and the flooring in the boxing area is predominantly gaffer tape!! Not the best gym in the world but for a tenner a month what do you expect!? But could do with a handyman or something!!
This is the best gym I have been to in years. No one is out to prove anything and there is a great atmosphere. Highly recommended and you can go to any of the other Xercise 4 less gyms at no extra cost. Join now or regret it later.
