We love this site for it's proximity to the pretty town of Burford.nNew Wardens are making some great changes...widening the access roads on site, and generally neatening everything. The biggest change they have made is to install new self contained toilet/ wet room and shower portakabins 1 in use,2nd coming soon, plus a dishwashing area.nThe Wardens are welcoming and friendly. It was great to be back there, and looking forward to our next visit.
Just had a 3 night stay in our motorhome. Exceptionally friendly relief wardens Lorraine and Clive were so welcoming and helpful. Lovely big pitch separated by hedges, with water and power very close. Incredibly quiet and adult only so just perfect. We walked to the beautiful Burford town and the Burford Garden Company with pavements all the way. However, the road is very busy so not suited to walking or cycling the other direction for the 2 miles to the Cotswolds Wildlife Park so we took the motorhome which turned out to be so easy for parking and a great day out!
Nice well kept site. Perfect for walking into Burford. Good sized pitches. Facilities undergoing work so only the one toilet and shower available until end of February.
Fantastic little site on the edge of Burford. The wardens were very helpful and friendly. They advertised no facilities but apon arrival found they had just opened a toilet and shower room which was very nice. The site is adult only and although near the roads was extremely quiet at night. The location is great next to a golf course and an easy 10 minute walk into the centre of Burford. There is a bus stop within 5 minutes going to Oxford or Cheltenham. Apparently Clarksons pub is a bus stop away. I will definitely come here again and would recommend it to anyone. You can pay £50 for the caravan and motorhome club site or have a better site here for £25 a night.
Excellent great value touring park. Well maintained small secluded site with lots of trees and shrubs. Each pitch being hedged and separated from the next. Very helpful and friendly site wardens. No hesitation in returning to this site.nEasy walking distance to Burford and good bus service for further afield.
