Here we go! I approached a guy called Tom about a vehicle, he was immediately stand off ish, told me it was sold as seen, no attempt to prepare for sale the vehicle on their forecourt. He did offer me a test drive which I did and loved the vehicle. I returned on the ax Monday and shook hands with the owner on a deal at £18200.00. This is where it gets interesting, whilst sat going through the paperwork they messed up the finance proposal and put my income down at £15k, they then told me I could go and they would call me later. 3 days later…….. I called them. The wet Oman said I’d been refused finance, unsurprising as they had my income at £15k, they lied and said that that wouldn’t affect it, when I spoke to my broker he said it really would! They said that there was something on my credit score, I asked my broker to check, my score came back at 867/1000, to enlighten you, that’s very good/excellent. So I got straight onto my bank, they said certainly sir and I had the money same day, as I’d told them it was for a car loan they asked for the details of the car. I then phoned Wynford Williams, they Nicola said they would email it straight over…. Again nothing.. so I emailed them. I’m trying to upload the reply but basically it’s that they only accept cash or their own finance, no money from a loan to an individual. They were rude, ignorant and if I’m honest the owner was a bit racist and the toilet is not for customer use even though they expect you to die there for she’s whilst they do the paperwork. The lady was inept and the whole experience was horrid. Do not use this company I’m sending the email reply to the ombudsman.
I purchased my Nissan Juke last year and the customer service I have had has been excellent. From the inital outset of the sale to the after sales service and organising recently a full service and MOT. I would recomend Wynford Williams Cars to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
A fantastic garage, just purchased a car from them and they could not have been more helpful. Completely non pushy and sorted everything out extremely quickly. Would highly recommend.
So impressed with these guys. Good old fashioned helpful, knowledgeable, honest and absolutely non pushy sales team. I bought my Golf from them a few weeks back and I couldn't be happier - lovely doing busy with them and would certainly recommend giving them a visit.

Wynford seems a genuinely nice guy, but sadly in my experience like many car sales places that I have experienced over the years the niceness is just wafer thin, so as is usual don't be pushed into making a snap decision, and ask to see any service history, and check any intended purchase thoroughly before parting with your hard earned cash.
