If you go by day, you come by night. I have visited and used the station more times than I can count. After taking trips via train I always arrived back home at night on train.nnIt is a totally different experience. You can actually hear the whispers if you just shut up and listen. You get to just stop and take it all in and appreciate the history of the station. This place is worth the visit but you will never know what you may see or hear at night.
Wymondham is a tiny Victorian station on the Norwich to Cambridge line.nnIt's usually unstaffed, but does boast a decent cafe.nnTo cross platforms you have to walk over a steep bridge, so accessibility is rather lacking.nnLastly, if you're a fan of steam trains, the Mid Norfolk Railway Wymondham station lies a short walk away.
Used it plenty, and even walk by often as it looks so nice. First place to go when it's snowing.
What better to do than have full English and hot chocolate on a wet and windy November day. Fab as always. Thanks guys
So, you have to actually pay to travel to another station to collect your tickets! No ticket office or machine there meaning you're absolutely screwed if you want to travel anywhere
