We arrived in the dark and was met by a friendly warden who helped us to pick a pitch and made sure that we had everything that we needed for hook up. Wyeside was shutting for the season in the morning but all the facilities were still spotlessly clean and tidy. The showers were really hot. Dog friendly, as all the club sites are. Located next to the River Wye and only a 10 minute walk into Rhayader. Would stay here again.

What a lovely well maintained, friendly & happy site.nI just stayed Fri to Sun with friends & haven't been here for 10 or 11 years, what a difference, amazing in a good way.nWe had the weather for it too only one thunderstorm Saturday evening as we had the BBQ on but hey ho, other than that perfect sunshine.nThe staff are really pleasant & would do anything for us to make our stay comfortable.nRight by the river Wye too with a few access points to get in the river from a pebble beach.nReally want to go back soon but it's so popular it gets booked up quickly so planning well in advance is essential, we booked in Jan for example!nLots to do & see & only a short trip the Elan Valley reservoirs, visitor centre etc.

Fantastic, immaculate riverside caravan site, all facilities, we struggled for tv signal, 5 min walk to Rhayader, 4 mile, tarmac cycle path route 81 to Elan Valley visitor center.

Lovely CCC site with pitches well spaced and easy river walks from.the site. 5 min walk to town with shops pubs cafes, and red kites flying around in small flocks is just wow!

Lovely clean site, nice flat pitches. Beautiful walk along the river and town within 10 minutes with pubs/ restaurants, takeaways, coop, spar and local shops.  Only downside is the noise from motorbikes on the road above, but all peaceful at night.
