Went here for our Christmas party it was a bit difficult to find the place as there are 2 buildings and no signs as to where to go or which parties were at each building. There wasn't a lot of vegan option at the buffet despite being asked about dietary requirements but the food was nice and the staff were friendly and the disco was really good.
Fantastic course, best in the area.
Played the course 14/07/20 course is in great condition, greens running very well. This is a course you need to be accurate on really well set out. £40 for visitors so not a bad price for the course. Food in the clubhouse decent enough. Would recommend.
We got married here. Amazing food, views, rooms, showers, beds....I couldn't of dreamed of anything better from start to finish
First class staff in a first class Hotel and Golfing Complex. The course is a parkland long and tricky one. It is in a valley with challenging drives which are great fun. Did I say how good the staff are, nothing was too much trouble, special mention for Julie and Courtney from the Hotel Bar. They looked after my Birthday party in the select private Annexe to the Bar. We even had our own direct link to great beers and shots. Thanks to kitchen for teas and coffees and amazing sandwiches and chips. Well done all at Wychwood.
Stayed for 3 nights, buffet breakfast was very good. Plenty of choice and food was hot. Continental, vegetarian options available too . Room was very good, cleanliness could have been better though . Beds were comfortable and a big walk in shower. Linen was clean and towels changed daily . Plenty of parking. Dinner menu limited but adequate. Food was on the whole good. Staff were pretty friendly. A busy restaurant , with little apparent organisation, meant slow service though .
Really good challenging course and in good condition considering the time of the year .all credit to their ground staff
The course is perfect from Tee to Green. The greens are the best I have ever played on. The only problem is the signage. Hard to find the next hole if you don't follow the players Infront. No signs on the Tee to say which hole you're on. I did see a little plaque on the floor on one. You only get little plaques on the fairways too which I only saw after a few holes, so hard to know the yardage. Don't let these deter you from an immaculate course. If the signage was sorted it would be 10/10!
Lovely course surrounded by a gated community, wonderfulclub house serving good food at a reasonable price. The course is challenging with plenty of water and unforegivin rough. Expect to lose more balls than usual, during one round myself and 2 colleagues lost over 30 balls in one round in water, rough and in areas of heavy foliage.
Beautiful but hard course. Fairways are lovely and wide enough but if you miss them you in trouble. Some terrific par 3s aswell.
