I visit Wrexham once a week from Chester, the bus service is great but what I cannot stand is people who just walk to the front of the queue as the bus arrives and get on before the people who have patiently queued! before they arrived!nI know people say there's plenty of room, especially on a doubledecker bus but that's not the point. It's simple manners to wait your turn, something that is sadly lacking today. I hate rude people and would be more vocal about their bad behaviour but don't want a punch in the face or a knife in my chest! Sadly either is possible in this violent society we live in today.
Bright and airy, and for those that remember what the bus station used to look like some twenty years ago or more, this is a huge improvement! Covered, with some shops inside sadly, some are vacant but this is not the station's fault. Toilets are shut at around 5pm or 6pm on weekdays, from memory. It can be a hangout for younger people too, this may be a good or bad thing depending on your point of view and their behaviour.
Was here Saturday 12th March & pleasantly surprised how clean it was, much improved since I was last here.nMy son also used the toilet here, I was cringing as last time I used them years ago they were revolting, however today they were immaculate nMy son spilt a drink & the caretaker, Neil came & mopped it straight away even though I offered. He's definitely doing a good job!
The shops inside are good according to an acquaintance though I only use them if I really need to, nothing against them but to.me the bus station is just to catch my bus. I have more than a few times seen someone off their face on drugs hanging around outside here and noticed no security or anyone doing anything about it.
As bus stations go, this one really isn't bad. It's relatively clean with good loos that were well stocked and clean whenever I've been there. The seating is adequate, the information Centre is manned with helpfully, friendly staff and all in all, it's exactly what it's supposed to be.
