Story

Wren Davis Ltd has been delivering milk and groceries across South Buckinghamshire and parts of Oxfordshire since 1923. when deliveries were made on a bicycle. Today we have upgraded since the bicycles to electric and transit floats but still offer the same high quality delivery service to your doorstep. We have recently introduced an online ordering service through our website allowing customers to order up to 10.30pm for delivery the next day! Wren Davis have reliably delivered me milk and eggs for the last few years. I got a note earlier this week saying today was the last delivery though the website says they still deliver and I can't get a response on phone or email. I am guessing the business is unfortunately going insolvent, so am regrettably having to move to another supplier.
Before you sign up for this service, please consider your neighbours. We live on an extremely quiet street and for two years have had the diesel truck roar down to outside our house at 2am, engine left on while he delivers then roars out in reverse. I have tried speaking to the company and to the driver about delivering at a more considerate time - 11pm or even 5am. Hoping our neighbours will finally take pity on us and cancel the delivery. Edited following response from Wren Davis… I called you once and you denied it was your company delivering to this address and the second time said there wasn’t anything you could do. I spoke to your driver a while ago and he promised to be more considerate. That didn’t last long. Spoke to him again last night, he said there’s nothing he can do. Spoke to my neighbours again this morning and they’ve agreed to cancel. Meanwhile my 11 year old goes to school knackered for the first day of his SATS. I also question anyone who wants their milk sitting outside in 20 degrees for 5 hours. Getting your milk delivered used to be a necessity and quaint when it was in little milk floats but this is just noise pollution. I’m not sure what talking to you again would achieve.
Good local dairy delivery. Generally a very reliable service and fair prices. Unfortunately, some products particularly yoghurts have been delivered very clearly damaged beyond use on a number of occasions, hence 4 stars rather than 5.
We have repeatedly asked Wren Davis to ask their driver not to use our dive for turning around in the early hours of the morning, the wheels spin on the loose gravel making a lot of noise. It happened again last night waking me and my neighbour up. Disappointingly poor customer service.

What a wonderful service Wren Davis provide. A weekly daily doorstep delivery to my door come rain, sun, and even snow! Now you can order online late into the evening it saves me having to go out to the shops when I've run out of something. I just go onto my account the night before and it is there on my doorstep before I am out of bed in the morning. I don't know how I survived without this service! Highly recommended.
A very reliable service to my door weekly, and very friendly as well. Good quality products from .local farms. I shall miss all the products they sold during this current pandemic.
Isn't it great to find a REAL company who look after their customers? One that also knows the products they provide and can deliver them in their area to your door, saving you needing to use fuel and your car fighting the crowds!
They have been delivering various of products to my door for the last 2.5 years and never a problem. Good quality products always fresh and reliable service.
Have had deliveries for the last 40 years. Always arrive even in very thick snow and now with the present crisis they are still as good as ever. THANK YOU.
