Nice family park. Some carparking available on adjacent roads. Sweet Rhythm Big Band enjoyed the Lions Family Fun Day on father's Day.
This is beauty and nature place, lovely gardensand well kept, great area for children and elderly with lots of choices for them to play with.
Great location to find parking places. You can park in side roads or outside by the main entrance and it's free.nnThis park contains 2 big fields, 2 children playground areas, some materiel for gym and workout and 1 skating playground.nnThe toilet here is closed, so bear in mind this in case you need a wee nnGreat park for short walks and dog walks.
Great time of year to be visiting as trees are turning green and some are in flower. Daffodils are still flowering. Great work due to Friends of Worthington Park.
There are a number of public parks in the area but this is probably the best. There are a number of large fields to play in and a few park benches around the borders for those who prefer to watch the world go by. The resident wildlife is also worth looking out for, with and as well as the usual mixture of birds including a few you don't see too often.
