Lovely kept venue with a good size stage suitable for a good range of events. perfectly adequate facilities for the size of the venue. Accessibility for all and Parking was easy and free due to finding a spot in the nearby streets after 6pm.
Went to the martin kemp 80's night yesterday evening and had a really good time out here! It's oldy worldly but did the job! Pleasant staff and needs refurbishment furniture wise asap. An asset for Worthing! Will be back for another night out!
Seating arrangements + flat chairs very old fashion. I know it was built year years ago...but it is time to make it more enjoyable with elevating platforms. Building is precious but the seating..painful. Sorry going to this venue wasn't my choice...the show was relocated..and for my love to the Beatles ..I went ....please please update seatings .
Paid for seats in the box upstairs, the seats were disgusting with dirty ripped arms held together with dirty gaffer tape which itself was hanging off and foam coming out of the chair! The show wasn’t as advertised and myself and friend left! Wrote to Assembly Halls but didn’t receive a response. My first and last time going there! Very disappointed and £50 wasted! Warning: don’t wear nice clothes if you pay for the most expensive seats in the box which are dirty and disgusting!
Never been here for a show before. The views of the stage were ok provided you didn't get a tall person in front of you. The sound was good, I could hear all that was said by the act. I was in the second to back row.nI think it could only have been better if the floor had a slope.
