I did not visit the "Hall of Fame" a shamelessly commercial offering based upon Rugby Football. I went to the Rugby Art Gallery, which as usual presented a beautiful exhibition of paintings drawings, prints and mixed media. well worth the offering. Many of the works are from the "Rugby Collection" Ignore the Blandishments of the "Hall of Fame" (which costs money to view) in favour of the Art Gallery and Museum which proffer an absorbing exhibit of lasting value for no admission fee. Worth climbing the stairs to the second storey. (there is a lift for those less able)

Took our two year old around for a Christmas treasure hunt. Lovely exhibits and very interesting local archeology. Downstairs library was incredibly well stocked and well suited for young readers

For any Rugby fan this is a must. It's not the biggest place, but what is there is huge. A mix of interactive elements, done in an innovative manner, along with exhibits covering the whole history of the sport.

Good for a bit of light entertainment if you're a big rugby fan. However they do need to sort out the way they play the audio into the museum. There are so many audio videos playing next to each other that it is really hard to concentrate on the one you want. I had to skip over a lot of the first part as it was a bit of a sensory overload with about 10 different audio videos playing in the same area.

Mistake here. Very well presented museum, good exhibition of amateur work, nice Roman display and exciting story of rugby if that's your interest.
