Thanks to the new management, food delivered on time and taste is more better than before .. now late night we have good food place .
Not the best chippy in the area. If it was cheaper it'd be value for money but they charge the same as others in the area for a lower quality food. Food isn't awful but others are better.Food: 2/5
Waited over an hour in the shop for gluten free fish and chips to find when I got home 5min journey the curry sauce and sausage was stone cold in the middle, the fish was mainly batter I thought we had found a gf chip shop nearer to home looks like going further afield to the ocean boat again
Fantastic that caring people have taken the reins at Wordsley Chippie. Great food again.Food: 5/5
Just fetched chips and a battered sausage for my tea and was totally inedible and had to throw away, dry overcooked greasy chips and the sausage was like a brick disgusting
Had battered chips with chicken nuggets. I must say, it was amazingly nice. I really enjoyed every bite. Cant believe I've lived here for this long and never dropped in before - not really a takeaway person. Was at a good price to with good portion size.
Best fish and chips I've had for ages! Lovely crispy batter and the fish was fresh and really white. Highly recommended. My partner had a kebab and said it was really tasty. Very friendly service and lovely and clean. Will definitely be a regular.
Ordered from Uber eats this chip shop as a lock down treat. Arrived super fast and driver very friendly, £18 for a Luke warm kebab and barely warm soggy fish and chips. Fish tasted auwful, kebab was terrible, and chips had loads of black eyes in and not edible. If it had been fresh to order, due to being deliverys only, may have tasted better?.. Ruined the craving we had for chip shop in sad times. I can't believe I paid £18 either.??? Inc delivery.
Very good sausage and chips.
Excellent quality fish & chips, definitely the best in the area. Would fully recommend a visit there.
