Great value staff really lovely. Restaurant lush had a scone and cream with jam it was amazing massive homemade . partner had bacon sarnie and biccys . Coffee and tea. Lovely.
I was in this store and I heard 3 assistants laughing about a Caledonian coach trip crowd who had been dropped off. I could not hear exactly what was said due to the strong Scottish accents but it was obviously derogatory due to the loud laughter from theses three females. I said I was on the Caledonian trip and the perpetrator put her hand over her mouth and scuttled off while the other two laughted again. I was furious at the thought of being ridiculed by these females who where working a Bank Holiday while I was on a very nice holiday. They should be ashamed. I summoned my friend who was about to make a purchase and we left. Not nice!!!!
One of those outlets which has everything. Clothes, gifts and usual tourist ornaments. Food, drink and confections. Lovely café for cake & coffee. Didn't have time to sample a cooked meal.
Very good food and staff were excellent. We landed them with a party of seven and both the restaurant and the shop were good.
sometimes when on holiday you need to find an expansive souvenir shop full of Americans! lunch was yummy and reasonably priced, and we enjoyed looking around the shop. very friendly staff, we couldn’t resist buying some shortbread to take home with us!
This was a coach stopover point on a recent holiday. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, especially in the food area. There were several Gluten Free options! The rest of the site is useful for shopping if you are looking for clothes or perhaps some touristy souvenirs. Do check the prices and quality carefully though, as a lot of stock was synthetic and made in China, not exactly what you might expect at a "Woollen Mill." There is a good selection of books, especially young children's books with a Scottish theme.
Shop was well stocked with stuff, jewel in the crown was the Afternoon Tea served in the cafe. Wonderful sandwiches, huge scones with loads of jam and cream plus big butterfly cakes with tea ir coffee. All for £15 per couple.
Avoid the whisky shop inside. Tourist trap with some bottles being sold at 2x the price of elsewhere. £60 for a bottle of laphroaig 10 is ridiculous... Please do not buy whisky here but the clothes were good value for money.
It is so easy to park here. Always have something to eat as there are plenty of tables. Toilet facilities available and great shopping. Friendly helpful staff.
Sadly we arrived here as they were about to close but the staff were very attentive and helpful. We left with 2 hot chocolates to warm us on our way.
