We're an independent furniture retailer based in Dorchester. Our aim is to help you create a home you'll love.

Story

We are a local company based in Dorchester with over 140 years experience of the furniture industry.

Our range include the Woods Collection which consists of stunning bedroom and living room suites, beautiful dining room furniture, gorgeous kitchens and accessories. We also stock well-known brands such as Neptune, Stressless, ercol, Parker Knoll and G-Plan.

The fact we are a small local business means we believe in getting to know our customers and offering a tailored personal service. Even though we can now reach more people who live further afield online, we still believe in offering the same service.

I ordered a sheepskin rug. Melissa from customer care kept me updated on my order. I received a professional and friendly service. The rug arrived very quickly and was packaged really well. The quality of the rug is really good. It is soft and thick and It looks beautiful in my living room. Thank you Woods furniture :)

The customer care was second to none.. thanks Melissa! friendly and attentive and the delivery service was ahead of time. The quality of the sheepskin rug is fantastic.. really beautiful. I will be recommending Woods to others and definitely take my business there again.

I just want to say a big thank you to Sam in your Dorchester branch for the excellent service he has given. I was let down by a major high street retailer and ended up moving into my new home with a Bed, but no mattress! I thought I would give you a try and was extremely happy with the welcome and service I received. Sam was brilliant, guided me through the options and placed my order urgently to try and get the mattress delivered a week early for me. I was so happy to receive a call from your depot yesterday to say he had managed to do it and it would be delivered today. The delivery men were polite and courteous, arrived on time and left everything clean and tidy. I am so impressed with your company I won’t hesitate to use you again and recommend you. Thank you again. David

Really nice people. Spoken to them a few times about recent orders and they couldn't have been more helpful. Great products and speedy delivery. LOVE MY RUG!!!! Thanks Woods, will be back to buy more
