First time visit to Woodlark pub on the way home.nnThe food and drink options are actually not to bad.nnStaff are helpful and welcoming.nnPub has got a little playground for the children.
Had a brilliant evening spent here with lots of family and friends having wedding celebratory drinks. The staff are all so friendly and the new assistant manager Jo was amazing at making sure we was all having a good time as well as sorting out any wrong doings. They also do the best fishbowl cocktails too!!

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed, and the entire team made us feel incredibly special.nnA huge thank you to Emily for her kind attention and warm hospitality. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us, checking in with such genuine care that really made the evening feel personal. Kevin was also fantastic—professional, friendly, and so attentive throughout the night. They are both a credit to the team!nnAnd of course, we must give a special shout-out to Chef Curtis—the food was absolutely amazing, as always! Every dish was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. It’s not just a meal at The Woodlark—it’s an experience, and Curtis and the kitchen team never fail to impress.nnThe pub itself was spotlessly clean and had a welcoming, cosy atmosphere that made the evening feel even more special. We read the reviews and decided to check out the experience. The pub has recently been taken over by a new couple who are doing an incredible job. I’d like to say at the start I don’t base my review feedback on just the food it’s all about the experience from start to finish. The atmosphere in the pub very relaxed the food extremely well cooked and very hot. The environment extremely clean literally spotless especially the toilets. The staff were all extremely nice.We ended up having a bit of banter with one of the customers who actually ended up being one of the bar staff, a top man. It’s not very often you visit a place and feel like you’ve had an absolutely fantastic time, but we did. Some advice to anyone reading this review make sure you pop in and check this place out it rocks. Good luck for 2025 you’ve certainly made an impression on us best wishes Darren/Dawn.
Veg chilli nachos were tasty as a light lunch snack. Sauces that accompanied it were ok hence the 4*. Good pub grub variety on the menu and value for money.
