Went here for a mothers day treat. Was not great but the food was not bad. My starter of mac and cheese with buttermilk chicken was lovely. I thought my fish was a bit overcooked as it was a bit crispy and not flaky. Sweet was nice. I don't think travelling half an hour I would go back again. Always try new places. A lot more places to try.
A pub/restaurant close to home that we really don’t use often enough. We found a table, relatively busy but still tables to choose from. We ordered the ultimate chicken burger each and were pleasantly surprised. Good pub grub, piping hot, the burger was huge. The pub has a lovely feel to it, which I’m sure is helped by the lovely staff they have. We will be back sooner rather than later.
I had a friend visiting from Switzerland and I took her to The Woodlark as I had eaten there a couple of times before. We are both vegan and ordered your Cauliflower Wings and Chips. We shared a vegan banoffee pie with vegan ice cream. Everything was delicious. The restaurant itself is very pretty and the staff welcoming and efficient. Our only regret was that we hadn’t ordered a main course version of the Cauliflower Wings. I live alone, but will definitely return during the summer, even on my own, to try some of the other vegan offerings.
I can’t say enough good things about the service and food at this local pub. The staff is incredibly accommodating for minor changes and goes the extra mile to ensure guests are happy. Special thanks to Mr.Dhruv for constantly checking in on us :
Amazing customer service from front of house from start to finish. Food was lovely. Personal choice wasn’t a massive fan of the onion rings or macaroni cheese. But there was nothing specifically wrong with them just not the best ones I’ve ever eaten but still nice. The burger etc was lush. Great service.nPrice was very fair based on 2 courses.
