Great Wedding Venue with Excellent Service We recently held our wedding at Woodkirk Valley Country Club and we were really impressed. The venue itself is beautiful, with well-kept gardens and tasteful interiors that provided a great setting for our ceremony and reception. The staff were professional and friendly. From planning to the day of the event, they were extremely helpful and ensured everything went smoothly. Their attention to detail and organization made the day stress-free for us. Overall, It is a fantastic choice for a wedding. The combination of a lovely venue and excellent service made our day truly memorable.
Had my sisters wedding venue here and it was absolutely brilliant! The setting was perfect, the staff was incredibly attentive, and every detail was beautifully executed. It was the perfect place for a magical day. Highly recommended!
I recently had my 21st birthday party here, and it was fantastic! The rooms were spacious and stylish. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring everything ran smoothly. The DJ played a great mix of music, keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. The drinks and food were very good, with a variety of options to cater to all tastes. Overall, it was a memorable night, and I highly recommend for any special occasion!
This place is filthy do not book until you have viewed the venue..I have been here several times in the past and it was clean and presentable but im not sure what has happened it is so unloved and rundown for the prices they charge its a rip off..if you are thinking of booking check the toilets apparently they were cleaned and the cleaner was in for 3 hours. The toilet lid underneath was thick with dried urine the pot had dried faeces and cobwebs hung from the walls. The sink plug hole had black scum around it as did the taps ,the window sill was thick of dust along with the top of the hand dryer .it was uncared for dated and definitely unloved..the room was dated dirty walls doors and mirrors and my feet stuck to the filthy floor when I was walking.there were a few young children there dressed in their beautiful clothes and they ended up dirty off the filthy floors. The staff did not care less they were miserable and unprofessional at 1 point they both left the bar to go into the beer garden for a break and had to be told there were customers at the bar. When having a good look behind the bar another guest said that was dirty and uncared for.. the bar staff spent a lot of their time on their phones and did not interact with customers at all. Glasses were either dirty or wet and drinks that weren't on draft were at room temperature not chilled .. When a guest complained at the end of the party the staff member showed no compasion and was unprofessional and just simply did not care all he could say was I'm not a cleaner I work behind the bar, well I would of thought they were cleaners seen as they work in the food industry they should have health an hygiene certificates that gives a clear understanding of "cleaning" He went into the back with the other staff member clearly to tell her about the complaint and no1 saw them again.
I recently had the pleasure of attending a 50th birthday bash at Woodkirk Valley Country Club, and it was a great night! The venue’s decor set just the right mood for the celebration. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and took care of us,with excellent service. The evening went really well and the food and drinks were plentyful. The live entertainment and disco was standout, adding to the fun and lively occasion.
wow what a disappointing venue,been to weddings in the past but never to a day venue everything around us was filthy tables mirrors carpets outside tables and decking never have I seen toilets as bad,spoke to the bar man that informed us the cleaner had been from 7am till 10 he agreed they need a new cleaner.someone who was setting out said the cleaner certainly was there with a dripping wet threw filthy cloth she used for all areas she mopped without vacuuming spoke to the manager who had the cheek to ask why the rubbish was left at the rubbish bin apparently paying £200 for 4 hrs doesn't include the bin whoever owns this once wonderful club needs to go inspect it,still as Christmas trimmings round the bar ! n just incase the manager does read these reviews it's not the person setting ups place to speak to your cleaner about the place been filthy ! !
Had a great breakfast here a few times recently, so we thought we'd try lunch. It was a very busy time, all the seats were taken, but we soon got our order 30 minutes and the food was excellent,as per previous experiences. Reasonable prices, good fresh cooked food, great service and a nice atmosphere
Absolutely disgusting filthy told cleaner had been unfortunately she must have been blind as there had been no cleaning done at all even the toilets looked like a builders toilet

This place has great potential, we had a lovely christening and the price was very fair. Staff were great, communicated well and ensured we had a great day. The outdoor area is lovely and a great back drop. But the place really needs some money spent, the floors are old and dirty, it was raining and the window leaked, I had to move the cake. The worst thing was the toilets, i should have tried when I viewed it, they need modernised and cleaned better.
