We chose this restaurant after reading all the great reviews, and not being able to get a table at our usual Watton pub, and unfortunately left unimpressed. The restaurant was very cold inside and the furniture was very old, like living in the 80s. The extensive menu is impressive and most of us went for the Sunday roasts, lamb or salmon and all were just okay, unfortunately nothing special. The waiters were good and did their job well but the manager a guy in an all black outfit who we assumed was the manager was a massive grumpy grump and never responded to us with anything but a look of being disgruntled. Overall definitely a two star experience which is a shame for a local Hertford family. We will be sticking to The Bull in Watton!

Excellent food, gr8 quality food at an affordable price. Super value for money. No pretense here just good  food, in a relaxing environment...
