Took my niece and nephew to go see Father Christmas and it was an amazing experience for them. The staff went out of there way to make it a special experience. They had a ride on carousel, had a lovely time seeing Santa, then the elf helped them choice a present. The grotto and Christmas displays was put standing. We visited the arcades, Alvin the parrot, the tortious, had a lovely walk around. We did go on Wednesday evening so it was quite so we spent a good few hours exploring. We have visited the cafe on previous visits and it’s great, but unfortunately we ran out of time on the occasion. Highly recommend.
One of the best garden centres in West Yorkshire. Loads of selection's, the old amusements are great to go on. Seeing the animals too, great cafe too selling fresh selection of foods and cakes good coffee too. The christmas shop is also one of the best too huge selection and so much to see. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Everything you would expect and more from a garden centre,pleasant and helpful staff, Cafe, new addition since our last visit the penny arcade amusements and not forgetting Elvis.
Jo, Charlotte and their florist team were really helpful and friendly all the way though the process of choosing our wedding flowers. We were so happy with them all! They looked so beautiful and smelled lovely, I can't recommend them enough! Thank you ladies :
I don't normally write reviews, but after today's experience taking my children for the first time and seeing some of the poor reviews in regards to the cafe I just have to write my own review. The cafe was clean and a very friendly environment, the girl who works there with the lip piercing was so lovely and friendly especially towards my children. honestly couldn't of asked for a better service. The food was spot on, everything came hot and we didn't have to wait long at all. I'd certainly be back again.
Been to Woodbank many times and never been disappointed. However today was a different experience. The Xmas clearance was awful, tacky and cheap. The tea and coffee in the Xmas area was overpriced and undrinkable. The prices in the gift shop were extortionate and unrealistic. The garden centre has changed beyond recognition and not for the best. Really sorry but won’t be coming back
The garden centre is fabulous. The cafe is the worst. No organisation and the choice of both cakes and food has massively gone downhill. No signs to tell you what the cakes are. We waited 25 mins for 2 drinks, our cakes came fairly quickly after a 15minuite wait to get served not busy but many staff stood doing nothing the drinks took a further 25mins. It's been a while since I've been to the cafe due to the last visit. Nothing has changed won't be back
Took my grandson to see Santa and he loved it. The staff were very friendly and patient with all the kids. We loved the Christmas shops and really enjoyed our time there.
Nice food but waited 50mins for a toasted teacake and english breakfast. People who ordered 10mins after us received there's first...finally finished and went for some cake and was rudely spoken to. Can say we won't be coming back here again.
Restaurant is disgraceful an hour wait and the food was inedible cold and overpriced. To top it off the staff in there are rude and ignorant mainly the woman and young waitress. Apart from one young man he was extremely good at customer service. Garden centre is nice but avoid the place they label as a restaurant
