Took my niece and nephew to go see Father Christmas and it was an amazing experience for them. The staff went out of there way to make it a special experience. They had a ride on carousel, had a lovely time seeing Santa, then the elf helped them choice a present. The grotto and Christmas displays was put standing. We visited the arcades, Alvin the parrot, the tortious, had a lovely walk around. We did go on Wednesday evening so it was quite so we spent a good few hours exploring. We have visited the cafe on previous visits and it’s great, but unfortunately we ran out of time on the occasion. Highly recommend.
Superb garden centre, with all sorts of nice touches - just look up! Restaurant let it down slightly. Although the staff were very nice, a 40 minute wait for food was silly. Food quality probably about what you'd expect, we found it a little bland.
One of the best garden centres in West Yorkshire. Loads of selection's, the old amusements are great to go on. Seeing the animals too, great cafe too selling fresh selection of foods and cakes good coffee too. The christmas shop is also one of the best too huge selection and so much to see. Would highly recommend to anyone.
It is a fantastic nursery and lots more for buy…. Very nice for who loves gardening…..
Jo, Charlotte and their florist team were really helpful and friendly all the way though the process of choosing our wedding flowers. We were so happy with them all! They looked so beautiful and smelled lovely, I can't recommend them enough! Thank you ladies :
I don't normally write reviews, but after today's experience taking my children for the first time and seeing some of the poor reviews in regards to the cafe I just have to write my own review. The cafe was clean and a very friendly environment, the girl who works there with the lip piercing was so lovely and friendly especially towards my children. honestly couldn't of asked for a better service. The food was spot on, everything came hot and we didn't have to wait long at all. I'd certainly be back again.
Took my grandson to see Santa and he loved it. The staff were very friendly and patient with all the kids. We loved the Christmas shops and really enjoyed our time there.
Having arranged to meet family at Woodbank I looked at the reviews on Tripadvisor. Lots of 1 star negative reviews mention poor service in the cafe. We were pleased to find excellent service from the staff and a lovely bacon butty and cappuccino. Happy to go back.
This is a garden centre like no other. Huge array of gifts and plants set out over a wide area. But always keep your eyes up and there is secret treasure all over.little antiques and curios abound in this place nevermore do than in the cafe. Worth s visit for sure. Pricey bit great to look round if you can stop the kids touching stuff.
Ordered 2 pananis which were quite nice however the service was poor as our hot drinks were already drank when the food arrived of which we had to ask for as they made up but waiting for the waitresses to serve to us the cafe was not busy at all at the time
