21/1/2023 Ordered food to be delivered. Told 1 hour 15mins for delivery. It arrived 1 hr 30 ‘mins LATE. Rang the shop 3 times. 2 times told it’s on its way and 3rd time told the driver turned up and no one answered. I explained we had a camera and Ring so would know if someone was at the door. Driver arrived and said he hadn’t been here earlier so they lied. Also food cold. £32 wasted Wont be ordering from Wongs again!!
I love Wongs House! When I'm staying in Brixham I always order from here and you can always guarantee that you will get a gorgeous tasty meal every time! I would like to recommend the House Special Fried Rice. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!
Ordered @ 6:30pm for collection @7:30pm, order was made on time, hot and can't fault any of the selection of dishes that we had. Ordered no36.stir fried chicken with garlic & green peppers in black bean sauce, tasted great and lots of chicken in it. Also had no32. chicken chow mein, no103. curry mixed meats both had plenty of flavour and lots of meat . The egg fried rice and chips were good also. Would recommend this place if you want a decent Cantonese ,
Chilli salt chicken was the best we’ve ever had by a mile! The rest of the meal was really good too! Would 100% come back again
Fantastic food. Good sized portions and absolutely delicious. The Crispy thin noodles are something we can't get at home and made a great change from rice. Starters and fritters finished if off nicely.
We ordered a takeaway with our usual order that we might get at home and whilst the food was nice enough, there were a few things that could be improved. The chips looked old and overdone in parts, and the two mains crispy beef and Cantonese chicken whilst very nice, were very small portion sizes. The carbohydrates portions of chow mein and rice were fine. All food was luke warm. And we found out you had to pay for prawn crackers! So many Chinese include them for free over a certain cost so this was surprising. It did the job however
Had a few take outs from here everytime we vist brixham. They've always been quite good.
Phoned ahead for a collection order, walked down to Wong house to find it was shut. I phoned back and was told it was collection from Ming garden which was another mile to walk, by which time my food would have been cold. Seems they divert calls so you don’t know where you’re ordering from. It would be a good idea to make this clear when you phone.
Just had beef chow mein, fried rice and pancake rolls, it was the best Chinese I've had in a long time. 10/10 tasty food.
Went to wong’s on my first night in brixham I won’t be going again. Firstly the order was wrong, I was given curry sauce instead of sesame prawn toast??? and what I did get went straight into the bin, to top it off I was also given a fake £5 note in my change
