Not the most sophisticated racecourse I've been to but once you get over that the viewing is excellent and the racing was competitive. Food was awful, had a pie mash and peas but the mash and peas were cold and service was painfully slow. Access to bookies was good but avoid the grumpy Williams bookie who wasn't interested in our custom until we wanted to place a larger bet

I've been to Wolverhampton Racecourse a couple of times now and is not my favourite, but as a local racecourse, it certainly isn't bad. Has a great paddock area, with plenty of space for everyone to see the horses before the race. There's also plenty of indoor space to get inside between races out of the winter cold. There was only one place for food when we attended. And the queue was quite big. We did wait, but it cost £10 for a pizza that tasted nice, but ouch. Also, drinks are extremely pricey. £7 for a cider or a pint of beer. I didn't ask how much for spirits, but I can imagine you would be paying more. It's definitely worth a visit, especially to do something different in your local area. But I wouldn't be in a rush to come back to the racecourse this year.
We came for the Cheeky Blinder Summer Special. Food was lovely and plentiful, The Tote lady was lovely as was our Hostess Jackie. The bonus was our Hospitality room was right on the Winning Post! Went to the drone show at the racecourse . The traffic was awful. The event was delayed to give people the opportunity to see the show which was just fab of the organiser, otherwise we would have missed it. Great food stalls. We had a great night. Thank you

Ladies Day at the Race's, Abba Tribute at the end was a fantastic night, Foodstalls, Ice-cream etc, Free car parking, Definitely recommend

It's a very long way from Southend on Sea and the traffic was dreadful. Fortunately the beer was cold and the food hot. Great owners venue, but not sure I can face that drive again return journey was even worse.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Fantastic evolution light /drone experience. Racecourse was well prepared and easy to walk around. Traffic around Wolverhampton and local area was SHOCKING, TOOK FOREVER TO GET TO THE VENUE even with advanced parking tickets.
