Beautiful, tranquil & fun! Visited here with my 16 year old daughter and had a lovely afternoon. Well kept gardens. So many butterflies, bees and birds. Educational info presented in a very interesting and appealing way collecting stamps and pencil rubbings. Lots of outdoor games & puzzles which were all well maintained. We especially enjoyed the football golf and the maze. We took the small train ride around which was pleasant, but really should be included in the entry price is an additional £2 per person. Nice gift shop at the end. Staff were very friendly. Thanks for a lovely visit!
Definitely recommend a visit to this amazing place! We visited with our nearly 3 years old boy and stayed more than 3 hours would have stayed longer but we had 5 hours drive to go back to Kent after that. There is so much to do for kids and adults! Maze, mini train ride, giant games, missions, nature trails, football golf etc. We absolutely loved it and wish we lived closer to go back again. A perfect visit and obviously it smells so good there! Don't hesitate! Just pay a visit !
Really lovely place to visit. I was worried that there wouldn't be enough to keep my three year old busy, but thankfully I was wrong! Plenty to see, do and play. We took a picnic, but the cafe was open and looked nice.Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes

Very nice place for a pic nic, plenty of walking in the shadow and beautiful lavander fields to see. Many activities for kids.
This has come a long way over the last three years. It's really developing into a beautiful area of Yorkshire. I visited with my wife and four year old daughter. We were disappointed that the train wasn't working, but there was still plenty to delight the whole family. The maze is excellent, the shop is lovely and it's a wonderful experience seeing all of the Flora and fauna.
Fabulous place to visit with heavenly scents. We visited in early September when most of the lavender was picked, however there was still enough Lavender, the Woodland Walk etc to make it worth visiting. I have been previously in early August when the Lavender was fully out and it was stunning. Covid - good arrangements, one way system in/out and the loos etc. Common sense and courtesy needed when wandering round. Booking/Payment - on line to manage numbers. Car Park - free, disabled parking close to the entrance. Main and overflow car park. Shop - a range of their products. Expensive, but so is the distilling process, excellent high quality. Staff - very helpful and friendly. Tearoom - closed due to Covid, however, there are snacks, ice-cream and drinks from the kiosk from behind the entrance building. Toilets - behind the main entrance building, one way system, all have their wonderful Lavender Liquid Soap. Disabled loo, toilet is a tad low and there is no Emergancy Pull Cord.
Reasonable pricing. A surprisingly large amount of things to do. Lovely setting. A very pleasant day out, considering a season pass.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Fantastic place to visit for those who like the outdoors! So it's the middle of the covid19 pandemic and we took our 1 and 3 year old to visit. Staff were friendly and we could see they'd done work to make it as safe as possible. Lots still to do and a lovely walk around, it's a beautiful place. Lots of benches and fields to sit and eat at. Rabbit worren hut to work your way around Maze with lots of toys to play with in each section Den building area Butterfly area Lots of games for older children with a map and games to play as you walk in. You get a questionnaire with games on. Overall 5/5
What a beautiful place to visit. So much to see and do for all ages. Pram friendly and so well run. It has a very cute miniature railway to ride on too!
