Great short visit. Wanted a cuppa and either fresh flowers or a plant. Lovely cuppa and cake in the restaurant which was very busy, with people having a lovely looking, Sunday lunch. No fresh flowers, but good choice of indoor plants and pots. They had their Christmas displays taking over quite a large part of the centre. Had a good choice of various decorations, in all colours, traditional and modern. Would recommend a visit.
Had a really nice Sunday lunch, very home made in style. The queue was very slow and the server although really nice took way too long. So if you want a nice, well priced Sunday lunch then go here but allow enough time...
Nice cafe and restaurant area. I had the lighter meal option of 'brocoli and cream cheese bake', with side salad, as it was 603 calories. It was lovely. The home and food section was nice, bought a few items in the clearance. The garden area has a good variety, and a lot of the pots were reduced
Always made to feel welcome. Fab place to lunch with a dog. Highly recommend toasted cheese and onion sarnie with chips and slaw. Tasty and filling for good price.
We previously had 2 fantastic breakfasts here but today had to return our breakfasts twice because of stone cold mushrooms and massacred eggs. Most disappointing! We did however get a really nice good value xmas tree so not all bad but we won't be rushing back to the restaurant
I love this garden centre because it's mid sized and it's car park is accessed directly from A158 and the restaurant sells a wide range of food and drinks and the garden centre is a great place to buy things like plants and meny more things like road maps and the location is just west of the town
Sadly since reopening after lockdown, the shop has gone downhill dramatically. Discounts of 75% were charged at only 50% without any explanation. The outdoor staff were very very pleasant, however the staff at the tills were really unhelpful to all the people querying it. You had to go round and queue the bill getting soaked by the sprays in doing so as the were over the area you had to walk. Unfortunately the last visit I will make.
Love breakfast at garden centre but yesterday I had to wait 45 minutes for my breakfast as they were busy, it would have helped if when we ordered we were told of the delay. Several people had to chase up their food. When it arrived though it was lovely.
As always such a good garden centre. 5 star products and of course Great Christmas Display every year.
I only went to the cafe and had they Sunday roast dinner. That's was delicious as always. I have to walk through the garden centre and it looks really good. It's got nice displays
