We received excellent service, every step of the way. Firstly at the Goldsworth Road office meeting Della, who helped us through planning the funeral, taking care to meet all our wishes for the arrangements. We were then working at a distance, so appreciated that communications were prompt, courteous and helpful. Della took every care over details, eg ensuring we had the exact versions of music we had chosen. Then the day before the funeral, our Director, Sam Bryan, rang me to double-check every detail. He was calm, thorough and reassuring. On the day, Sam was there to guide us very calmly throughout, and ensure everything went smoothly. Special thanks to Sam and Della; also to others helping behind the scenes. We felt everyone provided the caring, professional service that one would hope, for it all to go well.

I chose WFS to arrange my Mothers funeral as they had done such a good job when my Father passed away 5 years ago. The service from Della was very professional and she was very understanding and helpful to me at what was a very sad time. On the day of the funeral Sam was also extremely good and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Managing arrangements around a busy work diary and from afar was made easy. They are not the cheapest but nothing is too much trouble and everything was seamless. Thank you Caitlin.

All the staff were sensitive and understanding. It was good that we were able to order our flowers at the same time as arranging the funeral so we didn't have to chase around looking for a florist. Excellent service from start to finish thank you

Excellent service from Della who made a potentially difficult discussion very easy. Everything went well and many guests complimented the non-religious service provided by the celebrant -Julie Hunter - with family contributions. Working with Luke from the designated printer over creating the Order of Service was also very quick and efficient and the final quality was impressive. Caitlin the funeral director on the day sent an introductory email, looked very smart as did all staff, and made sure things went smoothly. Thank you to the WFS team for all your support over my Dad’s funeral. We ended with a wake at Gorse Hill which made an excellent venue for around 35 guests.
